i was rollin around with my wife and i saw a homeless guy at the freeway exit. i do as i always do, a lil change from the ash tray and the roach weve been puffin on. he says "what is it" and i say "weed" and he tells me "nah thats ok" and just takes the change :)

There was a lady who worked the same off ramp and I always did the same but after a while we started talking at the red light. I'd bring her coffee and a sub. The cops kept ticketing her, she said that's how she spends the winter, in jail where it's warm, She can't pay so does the time and stays warm and fed.

Almost all the homeless people I used to know in Uptown did that.
