I just dropped my beans in the dirt yesterday. Heres what I decided to start with. 16 FPOG, 12 Motor Breath, 8 Hash Plant, 16 Bubba x Snow Lotus, 16 White Fire Alien, 8 Tangerine Headband, 8 Goji OG, 8 Fire OG bx, 3 Wi-Fi and 5 White x Super Skunk, 3 ARC, 3 Evil Kinevil OG, 8 Chemdog 91 x Snow Lotus. I will let you know how many make it above ground. Straight into the dirt no paper towel or soaking.

This is the first year I can remember of that I did not buy a single bean. I wanted to buy some more White Super Skunk and Wi-Fi but could not find any. Believe me I looked everywhere. I still have a few week window if anyone has a pack of either they want to trade for? I forgot I dropped 8 Lemon Alien Dawgs as well. The LAD, Motor Breath, FPOG, Hash Plant, ARC and Evel Kenivel were gifts. Thanks guys. If their shit you will hear from me, LOL Just kidding, LOL

Damn ken way to take it a step further. I like your style. Reminds me of being a youngster and planting right in the dirt. No pots, no soil, and no idea what to do when they actually popped. Lol.

lol..Yeah..I cant take any credit for those, really...

Last year,I had some seeded plants that didnt get fully harvested...
I Piled up the sticks in that area last Nov...lol;)
Now they are growing like grass...In the rock hard ground with just the tiny bit of rain we've had
I swear I have not even watered these
..i might keep one or two...i usually do :)

to cool , gonna toss a few handfuls of seeds in a few fields this year just for the hell of it , kinda just a offering to the cannabis God's - On yours I would def keep the few that have the most vigor as there out there fending for themselves and thriving good early traits -

I've already gotten a bunch started, including some:

Cherry Picker
LSD
Lifesaver
some old-ass Blueberry beans with a dismal germination rate of 40%
Skunk #1 from a 1978 run gifted to me, germ rate of 90% (and they're older than the Bb beans!)
CBDCrew Sweet & Sour Widow (fuck I hope I remembered that right, I keep calling it S&S Cindy and I think that's another one of BoG's creations)
Connoisseur Genetics Chemwreck... anything else..? Um... um... no, I think that's it.

I did go ahead and drop everything directly into the dirt, I don't normally do that, I usually pop 'em on paper towels on my desk where I can keep a close eye on them. I haven't gotten a 100% germination rate on everything, but on most stuff I have. Not sure how I like doing it this way, I feel like the cups with nothing sprouted are wasting my space, even though there are only a few. Depending on how many ladies I get, I may have seed starts coming out of my ears.

for my full run summer plants, I put a bunch of AliGee's Sour Bubble cross beans in Jiffy peat pellets...
I rinsed them pretty good before putting the seeds in....But Didnt PPM the run off..:facepalm:
Thats was a mistake.:mad: They were still too hot! :eek:Burt some little leaves on em:dead: but they are all still standing..
Dont use those with out flushing really good!
I used them before and it worked great....not this time :(
So I Flushed em some more..and Im hopping they live:bag:

...2 days ago i sowed a half-dozen AWTRA which is a strain i know nothing about other than that i got it at SeedHeaven a couple years ago, ...my White Diesel x Pimp Dawg came from a pack i got there around the same time although the AWTRA i paid for, the WD x PD i traded for and i so hope that my boy organix found a keeper in the beans i sent him that is as nice as the WD x PD he sent me, ...i still have 3 other variety's of his to pop when i get the room, lol.

...anyway, i grow in coco hempy buckets so i sow my beans directly into 9oz cups of coco and i use a second cup on top as a temporary humidity dome that is removed as soon as the seedling emerges.

...these aren't pics of the AWTRA, just some pics to show how i do, it's just i'm a very visually oriented person so i take a lot of pics, i think they show things way better than words.

...and here without their hats.

...and a few of the WD x PD seedlings, just cause i got the pics, as you can see, i only popped 2 and found one i consider a keeper so i'm seriously thinking about popping the rest of the pack or sharing the beans with my grobro, see what he comes up with, lol.

got a real nice plant that way, planted it straight in the ground, seeds came from some shitty weed from egypt, we just threw like 30 seeds on the ground without even planting, 12 popped... this one reveged, but ended up being one hell of a smoke..

I never had great luck with those starter pods that your using. I think they are called Jiffy peat pellets . Ken let me know how they do for you. Just curious.

I used them once before and they worked fine... the Green crack did great in em
.I wish I had that photo..i will look for it here on the farm
But I wont use them again...I dont recommend them.
