I am stoked! Just bought this 100 watt vintage hand wired all tube Marshall JCM 900 guitar combo amp. It is essentially a 100 watt tube Marshall JCM 900 amp head placed inside a combo amp cabinet with a Celestion GT12 high power speaker. I can drive a half stack with this however which is cool. Marshall only made these through the mid 90's I believe. I could not find one on EBay for less than about 625 dollars but I got this one for 300 hundred dollars cash from a CSU student who graduated and was headed back to Cali and needed cash bad. Its just got that wicked fat, and I mean Wickedly Fatttttttttt Hendrix, Page, SRV, Duane Allman sound, frequency range in tones either clean or in overdrive/high gain channeled. I have two really nice tube Fender Hot Rod amps, one a Deville with 2/12 " speakers with 60 watts, and another that is a Deluxe with 1/12" speaker and 40 watts that are great, but.... this Marshall it causes "Holy Bejebus, Homer Simpson Dohhhhhhhs to the nth degree" in shock and awe at the tone from this baby. Makes me think my Fender Hot Rods sound like 50 dollar solid state Sears Chinese made junk. Watch out Denver and The Front Range cuz the Ol' Bluzboy is going to tread the boards again real soon and burn up the venues with this honey of an amp aiding and abetting my sound kicking out some Road House Rocking Blues.

Thanks man. I'm so poor I have to find literal smoking deals on gear in order to buy the stuff in the first place so when I do,.... I end up screaming about it like a little girl who just saw Justin Bieber.
have a great weekend Bongo Bongo! I'm going to rock on this amp all weekend long in between levitations of sweet cannabis.

Damn!!!! lets rock Bongo Bongo!!! You come to my house I got a fender Hot Rode Deville, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, and now this Marshall to jam through. I have a Korg KARMA workstation in line and stacked onto a Korg SP-250 fully weighted 88 electric grand piano, 1958 Hammond M3 Baby B organ in show room working condition, 1950 Hammond Chord organ in show room condition.(got both Hammonds for free off Fort Collins craiglist free section), Acoustic B40 bass amp, Peavey TNT 75 watt bass amp, MIM Fender P bass, and a Rolands KC-550 keyboard amp. So we could jam our asses off as I play guitar, bass, keyboards, and 5 string banjo. Though, guitar playing is my real forte.

Actually from the sounds of it ill be getting a jcm 90s era tube. I like the hit rod and blues juniors a lot. Nothin beats a half or full with tubes though. I remember the first I payed a half stack tube I thought to myself "oh.... That's why...." Haha

Someone in Firestone Colorado has been advertising on the Fort Collins craigslist a JCM 900 combo for 500 that is the 2/12 JCM 900 model. They made the JCM 900 100 watt tube combo amps in a 1/12 model and a 2/12's model.

I'm a blues boy myself, I would love nothing more then to play a night. In front of people or not :D. Blues rock is my game :)
That is my game too. Grew up learning to play guitar from listening to the likes of Lonnie Mack, Lonnie Brooks, and Johnnie Winter albums played over and over while sitting with a guitar in front of the record player in the 60's.

hearing ya on that tone..........

enjoy amigo.......

axe on................
Love your Avatar "barefoot". Grew up learning to play by listening to Johnny Winter albums over and over while I sat in front of the record player with a guitar trying to imitate what I was hearing. Got a 1997 Fender Custom Shop ash body Stratocaster Plus I am playing through this JCM 900 combo using a old 90's Alesis Quadraverb GT effects rack mount unit for compression, echo/verb, and its noise gate. Don't use a lot of effects other than compressor gate/limiter and this old Aleisis unit works great. Just got one pedal on the floor then for clean or overdrive/gain channel switching and a old Vox wah wah. Minimal floor clutter for myself that way.

Those old Marantz tuber power amps would put out 150 watts a channel too Chickenman! Awesome, unbelieveable stereo sound those baby's deliver and I am totally on the same page with you on the superiority of sound from LP's versus digital CD. I'm lost how people can listen to MP3 man. They are like listening to a annoying midi file or cell ring tone as far as sound quality.
