I'm completely okay with finding a new source...I just hate getting caught up in the middle of it...I know plenty of cats who have Irene from other sources...but, the cut I have came with a promise and the 4 people I vouched for and put my name on have it with the same conditions I do..and 2 of the 4 have already made beans with her already...which don't make me look good. If I'm a man of my word I can't/won't give out or make beans of a cut I've given my word to hold tight...it's a matter of honor. Obs' knows where I stand...mistakes happen...it's no big deal and definitely nothing to dwell on...just one of those things.

As for the days of hoarding...I agree & disagree...I personally think the days of serious hoarding are ahead of us...not behind us...the med scene definitely opened up the clone trade to some free trading...however, the looming recreational scene, as evident in Colorado & Washington, seems like it will cause some serious hoarding...as there's gonna be some serious big money looking for things unique & a step above the norm.

I was actually surprised to see the Irene crosses on Soulies seed list. Although, it seems the Irene is quickly becoming the "In" cut these days. Its funny, cause Ive had the Irene for 8 or 9 years now and nobody seemed too interested in it till recently. I do think she is a very special, unique cut and feel honored to have been gifted it. Wish GH would come around more. Been a minute since Ive spoken with my boi..

It took 6 months to get approval from my source before I got the Okay to pass it to the 4...so, yes, absolutely got the okay...I take the 'game' very seriously...I'm a 5th generation Humboldt Local...2nd/3rd generation grower/farmer...I learned early on the rules of the game...if you break your word, you lose your credibility...simple as that. Granted we all make mistakes...but if becomes a trend...that's no bueno. It's all about respect & honor...not something people should forget about in the changing landscape.

i never gave the cut to anyone and honestly that's where i thought the restriction lay seeing as months back archive did a release of irene .. figured it was game on , i never heard archive get ripped for doing irene hybrids and now everyone and their mom has it... never intended to make you look bad and you know im not like the plethora of lames that can't keep their word...

seriously how can i confirm anything that didn't come directly from my hands ? ...people ask me all the time to confirm this or that from other breeders work how the heck could i know anything about what someone else does... i have never been in your garden,i have never met you in person , i have never talked to raskal about what you say he gave you and even if he gave you a male how could i possibly confirm it's true origins i won't put my name on anything unless it came directly from me sorry .. i grew out a few of your crosses and they were pretty good .. you guys did gift me your seeds and i am thankful but it doesn't mean i have to speculate and put my name on anything.. lots of breeders gift me beans ... honestly all that matters is that the crosses you guys did are fire not if i put my name on it .. everyone trying to cash in on my branding is a joke ... build your own name and rock it .. you guys have a good rep already with your beans the only reason you want my name attached is for credibility and marketing ... if you want to use my name pay me simple as that...
