BTW I was thinking more Calcium was needed or its getting locked out?

Lock out or ph would be my guess and btw slacking a little but u just went in the cloner a minute ago as the heat is kicking my ass here

Hiya PC, long time…… sorry to see your dealing with lockout issues.

1st thing i'd do is ditch the Tap altogether.
That way you know Exactly what your giving your plants.

What nutes are you using?

What kind of Calmag?
How old is the Calmag/ nutes?

Hey bro good to see ya! Im using GH 3 part, Calimagic and RO/TAP at 2/1 ratio.

What ppm and I would just use RO / cal mag on the gsc. It's super sensitive I noticed

600 is high. I recommend 50, 100 max for a starting point.

I run calimagic at 4-5 ml/g till week 5. I wanna say lockout based on the acute severity that late in flower.

I forget which element is antagonistic to Calcium? Maybe that's the issue? Not to mention Ca is immobile.

Is it ur only cookie plant or is this a specific pheno of a group ?

Im not following ya on 50 and 100?
My total ppm's are 600.
Excess potassium could cause Calcium lockout.
Im only using 3 mils per gallon and Im on day 30.

HB Cut. When it gets pissed it does this and it's light sensitive too.

Hey Prime….good to see you too brosefski. …. been dealing with my dad's passing over the past couple of months so things have been hectic around here.

So yeah, Again my friend, ditch the Tap water altogether. Trust Me!

Then, ditch the GH Grow…. you won't need it! Again, Trust Me!!!

Get yourself some Protekt Silica.
You will use this as your natural PH up…..
Plus, It's also Great for your plants, especially during the hotter months.

Then add per gallon of RO~~~>>>
In this order….so that nothing gets locked out!

In other words….if you add the Calimagic before the silica, chances are you will lock certain elements out.
If you Have to add silica last, then I Strongly suggest that you add it in REALLY slowly…like a few drops at a time.
If you add it first, you can just dump it in.

Anyways, this is what I was feeding my plants in Coco for years and still use it today on my plants in RW.

From Veg to Week 4 bloom ~

1 ml. Protekt Silica
1 ml. CaliMagic (I prefer Magical)
6 ml. GH Micro
9 ml. GH Bloom
1/4 tsp. Epsom

From Weeks 4-6

.5 ml. Protekt
4 ml. GH Micro
8 ml. GH Bloom
1/4 tsp. Epsom

Weeks 7-8

.5 ml. Protekt
2.5 ml. GH Micro
8 ml. GH Bloom

Week 9-10

Flush

This is all you will ever need from start to finish….

I've been using this same method for years because it is tried and true.

Looks like a severe Ca- to me, brother. I'd be using a product that's Ca only, not a combination Cal-Mag product. You can foliar the Ca if you're concerned about bumping up EC too high, but honestly, they look to be more than halfway done with, what, maybe a month more to go? IMO it's a bit too late to try to play catch-up to the Ca train.

Yeah next round I'll tweak it a bit. Thanks Sea!

I completely agree with @Seamaiden, My first run with cookies I was using calmag and had the same issue.. When I switched over to a pure calcium product the issue did not occur, same feed just switched out the calmag for Demeter's Destiny liquid calcium as I had a sample of it, but another good calcium product is Ca-Libur 20 by Age Old..

Much of what Hugh Lovell teaches is pure nonsense. The above chart is some actual science mixed in to give it false credibility (kind of like Deepak Chopra appropriating the term quantum to sell his snake oil fairy tales).

Have you tested your water to know what's in it? Why the RO? And what are your fertigation practices (wet/dry cycling, runoff)? What's your distance from canopy to lights? Humidity and temperature readings?(leaf surface) And how deep into the canopy do those damaged leaves occur?
