Ha! The 405. Avoid like the plague. And the 91, too. And the 10. And now the 60 going east towards Pomona. Oh, and the 5 going through Burbank and downtown. And Imperial Hwy when everyone's trying to avoid taking the 605 and/or the 91 home. And the 57 during rush hour. Fuckin' forget the 55 and the 22 during rush hour, too.

Fuck, I do NOT miss the LA area traffic one leetle beet.

haha i dont think you left me any roads

La traffic is the worse I've ever experienced. After errands I have to collect myself and take a weed nap. Shits for real.

i lived in brooklyn for a summer and commuted back and forth for another 2 from CT. i been out there 3 times and must have gotten lucky, as there was traffic but nothing i wasnt used to.

I never mind the traffic either. When I lived in arcata I drove from there to San Fran, from San Fran to LA, from LA to San Diego, and back up again no problem.

But I also love driving so that's prob why. I've driven from San Fran to Chicago straight solo with only a few naps at some rest stations on the way

Ya just avoid all highways 7 to 10 on morn and 5 to 8 at night. They fucking suck balls. Well they suck all times of the day right. Fucking la. Nobody knows how to carpool every mofo has to have there own car. We all need to get scooters like india.lol
Happy farmin;)

IME traffic in LA and OC areas (the basin) is now pretty much 24/7. It may lighten up by 8pm, but you can still count on stop & go at that time and later. Think you're gonna get a jump starting the drive at 7am? Better think again! By 5am the going is thick. Like I said, I don't miss it one little bit.

^^^ Dude gets it. ;)

So what if you had like 4 pounds of marijuana, but no evidence of sales (no receipts, no huge amount of money by your grow, and no scales)? The police might arrest you, but the county DA wouldn't take the case to court (as long as said county/city didn't have their own guidelines)? Or if they did, they would lose because nowhere in prop 215 does it mention marijuana limits?

keep yourself clean otherwise and they probably wouldn't push it too hard imo. Unless you have valuable assets to seize o_O

thanks for all the advice guys. im really likeing the sherman oaks area close enough to the beach or downtown but still nice neighborhoods. now i got to find some decent resturants in the area to try in get in bartending or serving.

you are in restaurant/bar heaven right there. also on either side with Encino and Studio City. The main problem will be competition is stiff for those jobs. Network your ass off and meet some managers/owners will definitely help your chances.

dont let them scare you on the traffic, its not so bad if you learn how to work with it. also learn the good side road routes through the hills

yeah man i cant wait to get out there. just for the change.

Why the valley? Is hot and the traffic sucks. The south bay is where it's at. You're at the beach then, no need to leave the local area, if you do leave, get the fastrak and let the poor people drive slow on the freeway. Toll roads rule when you make cashola! Also the only real area in LA where you can grow without worry is the harbor gateway. That's a day away from Sherman Oaks.
