starting legal grow op in my state, each patient is required to have their own room...

each flower room is 9x21 with 3ooow each...
i will post pics soon but im still in the building phase..

NOW heres the dilema... I was planning on building 5x5 tables, side by side, each table with 1k light and put 4 plants under each 1k. each table will be scroged. was gunna use 20g pots... coco meduim

i can usually pull 2# per light

a fellow grower told me that he has a similar setup, where he has 3k under 2 4x8 beds each bed with 8 plants but i told him the limit is 12 plants per room.. he told me to use 2 4x8 tables under 3k watts but to stick 6 plants in each 4x8....he said since im usuing 20gal pots, i should give 6 plants 4x8 scrogg, just veg them out longer so their larger... has anyone scrogged really large plants? if i do what he recommended im giving each plant about a 2x3 footprint which isnt that much foortprint when scrogging for a plant thats gunna be vegging 6-7 weeks.. so im considering it... what do you guys think? go with 3 4x4 under each 1k with 4 plants in 15g or go with 2 4x8 under 3k with 12 plants, 6 in each tray in 20g?

Your post is confusing, I am guessing that is why no one has posted. If its all about maximum production why not do one 1000 watt light per plant, or 12 plants and lights per room for each patient? What type of lights do you have? If you have the new DE 1000 watters you could go 5x5 per light or 4'x6' per light. If you cant do a plant per light I would do 4 per 1000 watt HPS.
