Hello from the Inland Northwest! I'm not new to growing but I am new to growing indoor. I am a Medical Grower and I am running into what seems to be the typical indoor issues with PH mainly because my meter sucked.

I look forward to sharing my success and failures so that others can learn as I am.

Thanks Electrocity. I'm loving this place, I have been getting lost everytime I pick a new thread. It amazes me when I think about how muck knowledge is available here.

Welcome to the FARM. Lots of great peeps here with TONS of knowledge who are more than willing to share their experiences.

Hi. I'm a newb to the forum but an old hand indeed with expertise on pH issues. I am quite certain I can remedy whatever is ailing your grow. Tell me of your parameters. All of them. Your problem will be solved. Guaranteed.

Things are back in order now Joey but I may be developing a new problem that has nothing to do with ph or nutes. I'm already outgrowing my pots as judged by the root tips I discovered while watering this morning. I just need to decide if I want to transplant up one more time as I enter flower.

Welcome to the farm.
There are folks here who can help you throw that pH meter away.
Best of luck.
Peace

That would be awesome ShroomKing. I am actually coming pretty close to not needing that meter with the soil mix I am using. I don't actually think there is much wrong with my PH now that I have a decent meter. The original wasn't made to do what I wanted and caused me to think I was alkaline. I started adding a little citric acid to my water and that's when things got crazy. I checked the runoff ph and it was in the low 2s. I switched to straight water for 2 waterings and my runoff today was right at 6.2-6.4.

Now if I can just get my soil mix balanced so it is mild enough for early veg yet strong enough to carry through without feeding.

My goal is to grow top shelf quality without having to feed bottled supplements. I also want to be able to recycle my soil after harvest even if it means waiting a couple months.

I am using a version of supercools super soil right now that has been modified slightly for my needs and availability of products.

Anyway, I am reading daily for several hours to find my answers. I am sure this site is the primary source I will use for increasing my skill.
