How Many Medical Dispensaries Sell Keifed Weed?

I buy more black market than medical but a dispensary opened up down the street for me, so why not check it out. Surprise surprise, another place that steps all over their weed, or buys dirt cheap from someone that steps all over their stuff, and then claims they're helping out patients. Is this just the norm?

It really is the norm, all the shit weed prices are inflated then they put it on bogos and try to say it's a good deal. Theres only a few places I know that has great weed but you pay top dollar. So you can't beat growing your own hands down.

Have not seen that done in Colorado, maybe someone else has, but I would be surprised to see tumbled buds at Kind Buds or Lotus in Denver. And yes, grow your own if you want the very best. Or stop by this evening, going to be puffing some 6 month cured OG-18 and watching the new SNL.:D

LOL that's the west coast #1 trick to pull when they sent packs back east. I'd show up open a couple packs to make sure it was cool then half of them wouldn't have a Tricomb head to be found. I know for sure i've banged my fair share of "dry sifted" herb. We'ed use the "oh it's outdoor" excuse to unload it previous to our MMA in the mitten. Shit you can drive down 8 mile right now and find a ton of it at low end dispensary's.

I've only patronized one dispensary (south Seattle) and the price/quality was competitive with what I was getting on the black market but yeah, one look at the buds and I think: that's been tumbled. Maybe it's auto trimming machines but the stuff seemed hand trimmed to me.

I've only been into one dispensary, got a joint free for my first visit, and my husband, who's a real lightweight, didn't really get high from it. Classic OG according to the dispo.

I expect they'd all keif it, but stepping on product means something entirely different to me. You would 'step on' coke or meth to make more, thus diluting it. I can't imagine how weed could be stepped on if it's in bud form.

To me if your doing anything to get more product/money than what you started out with IE removing thc from flower for your own use or to sell separately from the flower itself, your stepping on it. You can make crack different ways with the same amount of baking soda and get different yields, if you knowingly use a method to get more yield I'd call that stepping on it too.

Ive toured many shops and ive seen truly incredible weed in the disp. The thing that always seems to always get left out is by the time the cannabis has made it too a disp. its been passed through at least a dozen meddling hands. Blackmarket cannabis goes from plant to drying/curing to partaker. Also the majority of the resin glands are located within the flower. Almost all of the cannabis that came and comes from the kush region is beaten too collect resin glands then the bud is sold. I cant imagine the teenie amount of resin knocked off the ouside of a bud would equate too any noticable potency difference.

I've been to Amsterdam a few times(not in a while though) and I would say a huge percentage of flowers from the shops were silk screened for heads. I remember at the blue dolphin I got the guy to get me new stuff "untouched”. Asked for their best best crystaly and got a wicked African Swaziland sativa. Real good real trippy high. Very distinct flavor to...

The bay area in Ca is a interesting place in the sense of where you are and whether or not you buy meds at shops or not...

Shops. Some places indeed kief their buds or will package the buds over a screen to catch what normally falls off. I wouldn't say the majority of them do that but its certain that crap is done by some. You know even middle men/brokers and farmers themselves will do it before it's even at a dispensary; which also I wouldn't say is the majority. Yet it happens.

Location. That's important to. In the S.F. bay which is a good example has good cities to get meds, shit ones and some cities where shops are out right banned... If you're in San Francisco its easy to find really good meds of all forms at most places. Same goes for Oakland and most of the east bay. Won't be too hard to get some yum...

Now the south bay especially San Jose where I'm from has become a absolute dumping ground for C grade meds, mainly flowers for sure. You'll see good edible companies at most, good concentrate companies at a handful and great flowers at a couple(its going to be expensive mind you). Harborside SJ is like the one spot that has good meds from every category IMO. Only 3-4 decent places in a city of a million people, which is also the most expensive place to live in the country... So rent ain't cheap but the dispensary owners are uber cheap. For the most part the A-holes just got cheaper and cheaper when it came to flower prices in particular. I mean they bartered with everyone for everything but top notch flower pound prices just kept getting lower and lower. So all that killer flower/elite strain variety goes elsewhere and becomes sparce here. Buy at 1800 to maybe 2500 to sell at 50-60 a Henry (8th). 75% of the shops flat out suck.

If you're growing your own good genetics or your favorite strains for yourself. I'd say you're set. Same if you know a good grower or someone on the black market that always has the dank at a fair price.

Unless you're the farmer, know the farmer or one/two tiers from the source... You just don't know what you're getting in the "what was this fed or sprayed with" sense.

Top shelf should be hand trim with love and care, machine trim should be avg and below. It's like taking your car to the car wash and running it through the machine compared to hand washing your car. The machine can't see what it missed or took off. Just my 2 cents.
