I Got These Instead Of Preflowers...

of all the gear im running, its only happening on a few of my scotts OG from Rd....its like this on all the spots where preflowers come up the main stalk up till half way up the plant...then it starts making female preflowers....at first i saw these new branches and when they were just young i thought they were balls, but nope, new branches forming where preflowers would...

so considering this is only happening on one strain, i would assume its genetic....whats your guys assessment on strains that do this, anything special about them you remember?....like extra leafy? hermaphodite traits? extra potent? pure crap? lol

I have a similar characteristic going on with my yetiXscouts cross. But shes only week 1 flower so we will see what happens. Although it was showing this pre flip. interesting to say the least.

Hey Joe, looks like what one of mine did, and it was a hermaphodite. Here is a picture, looks like female pods, but instead has branches and male pods all in one, lol/ Strain was 99Goji.

Had the same thing on Dutch Passion's Euforia. Bitch started throwing balls at me and in the end the main bud was full of nanners.

shit man, this is not looking good then....4 out of 5 scotts og are doing this.....no other plant is doing this on over 45 from seed and 160 from clone...and i bought a 12 pack :( still got 6 beans left....im gonna watch them everyday close....its just not right if it is a "true herm" that ppl put beans out like this...i have made thousands of beans and never once come accross this before...

to be clear this is from rare dankness...i also have ghost train haze #1 from him, and its looking like shit and the slowest growing plant i got going....mopthing but problems with her since the begining...and now this...the only fems i got from rare dankness...the reg beans i got from him are doing good(rugburn and 501st)...of 4 reg beans i got 1 male and 3 female, out of 7 fems, i got 4 throwing up this shit...one that germed but didnt sprout, one thats a real struggler, and one thats normal, for now....lol

It's not guaranteed intersex, so don't discount them yet.
Just keep an eye on 'em, I've that structure hermi and I've seen it just throw pistals.

I've never had seed starts do that on me, only clones and it drives me up the wall because it leads to that "hairy" thing that's the worst to control and trim.

Hmm... how to describe it..? Ok, you know how with seed starts, each branch grows distinct and discrete, and on that branch grows discrete buds, right? But on clones what I get are what I call branchlets on the branches, and sometimes branchlets on the branchlets. And these branchlets are not so discrete, the grow a lot of tiny leaves on and around themselves. They grow up from a side branch, and when they do that, it gives the plant a "hairy" look to me. So then I call them "hairy-ass bitches" and hate on them and scowl. Sometimes, I'll look one of those hairy-ass bitches right in the eye and say, "Fuck it!" because trying to trim all that shit out to make actual discrete, easily trimmable buds is such a pain in the ass. I've tossed entire plants if they get too hairy for me to look at.

I know, I am entirely weird and not a little bit OCD about some shit.

ok well after a few days have gone by since i took those pics....figured i would investigate a little more....and im pretty sure they are hermed out...out of the 6 beans popped of scotts og 3 of the plants have this....here are some shots further up the plants....its day 8 flower, im about ready to cull these...just need a lil more conviction from some other fellow farmers

IMO, wait a few more days to be 100% for sure. It ain't like they're going to drop pollen anytime soon.
Even once their balls drop, so to speak, you still have at LEAST a week before they open......
