Nice alaskind so you put anything in the water or just pH it and that's it

The degree to which those leaves are burned suggests that the main problem would be the overall health of your plants before clones are even taken.

You need healthy plants to produce healthy clones.

I use superthrive as a cloning additive, and sometimes I use a very diluted solution of balanced macro nutes, or I use a very light bloom formula... I belive genetics also plays a part in the difficulty of cloning. I just cloned 5 sisters. The first was popping roots within 4 days, the last took a full 2 weeks... This is one of the reasons I like to start more than 1 or 2 seeds... even if all other things were equal, Id go with the fast cloning plant...

Ha, right, but the idea is the same, keep the chemistry set away from the babies.:D

Reason I suggest plain water is experience, I have burned my seedlings and clones with Superthrive and weak nutes. Best results are with plain water. I change the cloner water every 3 weeks. Used to use CloneX but find no difference with or without it.

Ive heard of this happening (burn) but I make a verrrry dilute solution and have had slightly better results with a tiny amount of nutes than w/o on strains or individuals that take longer....

Ime I have almost guaranteed success rates using rockewool cubes soaked in 6.5 pH RO h20 and I take cuttings midway on my mother plant. Put it in water right away to avoid an embolism. I cut the stem at 45° angle, scrape outside of stem with razor knife and stick in cloning gel (Olivia's) and stick straight in rockwool. Havent used a bubble cloner, just set in my humidity dome on some saturated vermiculite and put the lid on. Sometimes I also make a slit in the stem to help promote root growth. Grodan is excellent for rooting IMO. Some strains clone better than others. Like NaturalTherapy said you need healthy moms for healthy cuttings.

Natural was up brother the leaves are not burnt they balled up like that and then color after being taken from the plant THE plant I took those from is still kicking and lush

Lack of water uptake imo. They are wilted. Are the roots/stems above the water level with bubbler in the reservoir or submerged?

Dont submerge your stems in the cloner.they should JUST brush the surface and no more.the spray from the bursting bubbles is what you want hitting the stem.
