I also agree with sea, the potato thing may not work, however I have witnessed root aphids roll to the top. I'm not sure the reason they did this but the infestation was huge! That was three years ago, man I hated life. Them lil fuqqers almost bankrupted France and italy! Wine crops were devastated, and because most of us never check the bottom of our medium or simply can't.

I have also witnessed myself, early flowering, praying, three leaf, and other deficiencies from these lil fuqz. They cause a whole circle of sheet! Sometimes plants won't show an issue until early bloom, then its to late! I also suspect a large batch of them arrived via 707 in pre 2011 somehow.

Broad mites will be living within those tiny little hairs on your stems:) that why you need at least a100x scope.
Your damage on the plant where the new growth is turning brown looks as if u have broads or russet mites . You need to scope that area with a 100 x scope

View attachment 528335 also the tacoed leaves I took this video and it shows the larva or something li
If that's a 100x scope then I'm positive they are hemp russet mites.
The only way to deal with these is harsh pesticides, but in your case it's going to be real hard to spray the plants top to bottom and not miss a single one. There's a lot you can do to slow them down but in all honest it's not going to work.
Did you bring in cuts from somewhere? You got tone real careful getting cuts with pest out there. Unfortunately for you the worst of the worst pest has invaded and you already have buds forming.

Crap. Is there any way you can start separating these plants? Or... do folks think the Conserve (it's a more concentrated spinosad, so far it's been pretty effective for a lot of folks and souf's one to hear out, for sure) would be sufficient for treating both broad mites *and* root aphids? Or, is this a trashed grow?

My experience with RAs was that they literally trashed the grow, practically nothing worth salvaging, and I lost *all* my mothers ultimately, after months, and months and MONTHS of battling them. I used Triazicide (what finally did them in) after doing Bayer Tree & Shrub, and after that someone sent me some Merit75, and that didn't work. Only flooding the trays and leaving them flooded with the Triazicide for several hours worked.

I think also having some DE with that Dust Mizer thingy @caregiverken (tagged so you can search his posts) uses would do you well here, too.

Please understand, however, that I've only dealt with root aphids, not broad or russet mites. Give preference to advice coming from anyone who's dealt successfully with these pests before, is my best advice here and now.

not trashed yet but I have one real sick plant the one next to it is showing signs of the yellowing tops but is still in first stages NO curling leaves yet and only a couple plants has buds so I am hoping I can get something today that will stop em .. I been cutting limbs so one plant is not touching the next but they are all in the ground so cant move them

I think the big brown bug is a flea beetle the little white things inside on the curled leaves is thirp larva I think and was told it looked like russet mites So if these are the correct bugs what is the best defense for klling them?
The last couple pics I sent the brown bug in the good pic is called a aurthus something flea beetle you's think its a match?

Thrips are not going to cause the tacoing and browning of the new growth. If it is thrips that's a huge infestation and you will have little shiny skid marks all over your leaves.
If it is thrips they will die fast with a spray or two of montereys garden insect spray"spinosad" . Try to get a clearer picture of the larvea.
