ok...I just watched them all.
I don't see anything beyond hypothesis. & the majority of info coming from conspiracy theorists doesn't help.
Bear in mind, I'm not saying that it WASN'T the "Rod's of God." I'm saying I don't see enough evidence there to say that America bombed China.
Logistically, it makes no sense either. People keep saying it was a "shot across the bow" over currency issues.
You know what the quickest way to send the US into a true depression/crisis would be? Starting a war with Russia & China. Especially China. It doesn't matter if you disagree with them, or don't like how they do things. They are big dogs on the playground. Unless you want to try to pull of a Hitler style world takeover, you have to work with them.
You think that in an effort to deter them from devaluing currency...our strategy was to bomb them? Our military is stretched extremely thin as it is. Our defense budget is spent on weapons, not people. We don't have the boots to wage another war. Also, you aren't going to get a lot of people to sign up, if they know that we bombed them first. It's far too large a risk.
You want to start a war with a country that owns 10% of our debt, produces (all told) about 5% of our products, & is the source for many products we buy from them & produce here. They outnumber us by about 650,000,000 people & still can enact conscription. Meaning realistically, they could enforce it. Here, try to impose a draft & it will be locked up for years in courts. Last time I checked, they have a higher ratio of men to women, they have no age limits for voluntary service. Their military is nothing to sneeze at. Jinping seems like a reasonable guy, but he has comparatively little power when compared to other "Presidents." He is a front man, not a shot caller. My neighbor spends half his year in China, (he is American, just has a high tech job) he said it is still very much a "regime" over there. He said they are also hitting a financial decline.
We all hear about the pollution in major chinese cities. He said it's not all smog. Much of it is construction debris, because every major city is building more & more factories, & housing complexes in the vicinity of said factories to make it convenient for workers (to attract workers). He said the amount of construction going on over there, you have to see it to believe it.
They miscalculated, & many places the building has stopped, because they don't have the people/business they projected. That's going to affect their economy. I don't see how bombing them, in any way shape or fashion, does anything but hurt us.
All just imo. If more evidence pops up, I'll revise my opinion. Sorry if I rained on the parade. I'm honestly a believer in "conspiracy theories." But this one, so far...I don't see any logic in it.
Imo, if it was these "rod of god" meteor/missiles, I think it's far more likely that another country was responsible. We have nothing to gain, & a lot to lose. Devaluing currency is far less devastating than starting a 3rd world war. Especially considering, we don't have nearly enough people to fight it.
& the allies may not be so quick to jump on board if this is how we handled things.
