I've never grown outdoors. Is the netting/trellis for support? Or do birds/animals where you are eat the plant?

Around here, I know that outside, deer will eat them.
 
Its also really nice cause you can train your plants through the cages when there young and then as they get older it gives them tons of support... We almost always get a september or early october rain and if your plants aren't supported all the branches break and the plant can even crack right down the middle and everything will be a total disaster... Happens every year to beginner growers and even experienced ones some times..
 
Here is a picture from today. 10' t posts, 5' bamboo. Top of plant is 2-3' over the top of the cage. She is about 15 ft tall, and 10 ft wide.

Its an absolute insane amount of work.... People have no idea what really goes into a large farm... Thankfully I pay my friends well and have really good help so I have an amazing crew that likes to work for me and we can bust shit out.. Without the team I couldn't do all this
