Oh fuck.A lot of people don't know that most of the flex vent pipe we use is directional. Having it the wrong way causes turbulence.
Lol

I agree. I can't think of a reason they would even need that info? Not sure I want to give that out to just anybody.
Monster cropping is taking a clone from a flowering plant and revegging it, making it produce mutated growth for a month then explode with branching. Not a very efficient technique ime and I think it fucks with the final bud structure more than I like. @Junk started a thread about it in fact, didn't prefer it much either. His experiment is well documented as opposed to mine being years ago memories of experience.
Just droppin' by for my weekly stop and comment lol. Crazy, this thread blows up at least 20 pages between visits lately. A hell of a thread you started man.
no excuses... you just need to try harder when sourcing your shit....

That's a hell of a name lol@SeaF0ur
Itching to pop your jihad purp X sour bubble, wanna get a few more ducks lined up first
Any notes on these??
Don't do that. Monster cropping is good for getting a bunch of clone sites if you need them asap. Taking them to flower sucks. This last run I did was the worst ever, & you are running almost the same set up. It's just constant, explosive growth. Not in a good way, it's a pita.My next run is gonna be 3 monstercropping plants, take one at 7-8, one at 9, and one at 11 weeks, if all goes to plan. They are ready to be thrown in now to keep them short, but I have to adjust my light so it is perpendicular to the rectangular door area it was in. Got it all mylar'd now :)
Just a pic of the tent tonight before and after feeding and rotating....plus 2 pics of how crazy diff the strains are inside my tent this run....

So I think George Cervantes is a wealth of knowledge. His bible is still the one I go to from time to time and I watch every vid and take his advice most of the time. In this particular case though from an efficiency stand point maybe he is right but there is no noticeable difference in how a filter works blowing or pulling. The scrubber doesn't work longer either way. I haven't found any evidence that my fans get any extra wear and tear and the smell doesn't get out either way. This is an area I have gone back and fourth with since I started growing. It simply doesn't matter. If it was something I've only done once or twice I'd just keep quiet but I've gone back and forth depending on where I was growing and it has never made a difference. So if you can save some space by putting you scrubber outside your grow space and blow throug it it will be fine.JORGE CERVANTEZ SAYS!!: "Blowing air is half as efficient as pulling air!"
Lol i had to do it all over the top like that. Had to. No questions
Jorge has been known to be wrong and not as modern of a grower. But dude is pretty damn smart, and did a lot for MJ growing culture so while some people knock him, im a big fan : ) and still employ a handful of his techniques
Agree wholeheartedly it's still around. And it's one of the hoarded strains which really bugs me. I'll never understand. Well I guess I get it but I just think it should be in more hands. Most notably mine. Lol.Road kill skunk is still around. Its just held tight by non internet folk around my parts. Old school cats that kinda live Off the grid kinda.
I got caught up in the science & forgot how the subject was brought up. I have no idea about the effects with a filter. It appears you do, so I would just defer to that.So I think George Cervantes is a wealth of knowledge. Apologies for the rant. Lol. That was only concerning a filter. What you said about actual ducting I agree with. Specifically about creating turbulence one way and not the other. I'm only saying the filter doesn't care lol.I got caught up in the science & forgot how the subject was brought up. I have no idea about the effects with a filter. If someone wants to play around with their setup, an easy, & relatively scientific way to "measure" air flow differences is by getting a pinwheel...that child's toy that spins when you wave it around or blow on it. It's not going to give you a hard number (obviously) but often times you will be able to see the difference in the pinwheel.
E.g. if you had all your ducting backwards, & flipped it around, you would see the difference with the pinwheel.
Sometimes I do it with one of those childs caps that have the little spinning fan on top. But that requires two people, me to stand in front of the current with my head, & someone else to watch it & take notes :p
For examining THC, it could be my eyes, but I find this necessary. 40x doesn't get me close enough.

What are you trying to keep in check with the blue trap?
