Hey guys,
Hope you're all well!
Today's DAY 30 for Grapefruit!
Gave her quite lots of water in order to flush a bit for the past few days and she seems better now :)
Here are 3 pics (same plant):

DAY 30

Can I start feeding nutes again?
It's been about 5 days I only gave her water now..
Thanks!
Peace,

Hey everyone,
Here's the update at day 12.
She seems to be doing a bit better and the leaves seem to have stopped twisting following her first nutrient feeding yesterday. I fed her again today but only 300mL of the water-nutrient mix, which is about 0.3mL of both Sensi Bloom A and B as well as CalMag. There is still enough for tomorrow in the bottle. After tomorrow, I'll probably slightly increase the nutrients.
Here's the pic (sorry if it's a bit hazy haha!):

This is not representative of the real colour of the plant. It appears as yellowish on the pic but is green when removed from under the lightspot.
Peace

First thing that jumps out at me is why are you using bloom nutes so early in veg? And unless you have a calcium or mg deficiency why are you using calmag? Typically if you have a good starting soil you dont need to use any nutes for the 1st 2-3 weeks as your starts will get all the nutes they need from the medium you are growing in provided it is a good medium to start with.

Cal-mag is another "n" nutrient and is very benifical to use in veg growth and even the 1 st week of flower, really improves plant growth - but use must be reduced because of other "n" nutrients one use's

Thanks for your comment bro!
I was following a schedule I had been given which included Sensi Bloom during veg (apparently some people do it, using a Light Mix soil and it seems to work great with autos for them...), so I started by following this schedule but I have since then adjusted and bought other nutes including Sensi Grow!
Now she's flowering so it doesn't matter anymore. But I am using Sensi Grow for my other grows :)
Here's the update by the way, at DAY 33!
DAY 33 2

DAY 33

Are the thin long leaves indicative of a Sativa-dominant phenotype?
That'd be awesome :)
Peace,

Peace,
Yes , indicative but not always the case. If your crossing indie genes with a sativa (hybrids) you can have larger longer leaves in some of the phenos. Nice grow you are getting going there. pretty lookn bush you got there BTW. And no I am no making a pass at you..... LOL :p

I agree they are sativa dominate - do you use bloom booster's?

Hey,
Thanks for passing by!
At the moment I am using AN's Sensi Bloom Part A and B, AN's Carboload, and Voodoo Juice. Later on I will be adding some AN's Overdrive. Not too sure whether these are considered 'boosters' though!

Here's the update at DAY 36 (yesterday), start of week 6!
According to the breeder's specification, she should be done in about 9 weeks from sprout. Will see if that turns out to be true...!
Now the 'buds' are still small, but I hope they will get bigger soon :)

DAY 36 2

DAY 36

She's now about 55cm tall by the way!

Thanks for watching

Peace,

great looking plants

Have you consider using Bud Candy and Factor-X ? this stuff really works, there is even a side by side grow (U-tube) using factor-x and you see a very noticable difference - bigger buds with factor-x and bud candy help development of "terpends" which helps taste and potency ! All so Big bud and B-52 works well in "middle" flower stage. using mentioned nutrients brings cultivation to a new level (professional) Looking for your future post's ! "Keep'em growing" !!!

Thanks for the advice Hawkman! I might consider those later on. I've spent a lot on AN already as they're quite pricey and I always had to pay quite a lot for delivery too. I was actually thinking about trying Biobizz out sometime in the near future... I've heard great things about BioBizz too

Hey guys, here's the update at DAY 42!
Took more pics of usual, so here they are!
She's 60cm tall so it's the shorter phenotype, the other averaging 90cm from what I've understood.
Anyways, here are the pics:

Hey everyone,
Today's DAY 48 for Miss Grapefruit!
I am wondering how long left she's got. I really can't judge by myself as it's the first plant I grow!
Anyways, here are the pics:

Hey guys, hope you're all doing well!
I've got some good news! I found a way to take proper pics, so here we go!
There's plenty, and of the same plant, Ms Grapefruit!
She's 54 days old and 65cm tall.

Suggest shaving the legs, think of your stem as a highway and all of the buds are side streets. The less side streets the more traffic will end up at your top buds, if you leave all the little airy larf buds then your top buds are being robbed of nutes they could be using. JMO
