however im switching to all autos next grow so dont matter too much. i was planning on replacing my batwing reflector with a magnum xxxl, adding a second 1k digi with a second magnum xxxl and running an inline fan for ventilation with a charcoal filter. and doing ful mylar coverage from floor to ceiling. since the room is 12x12 those two 1ks in the magnums would give me a footprint that covers basically the entire room with primary light and the plants on the outskirts would have a lil less. i was planning on cramming at least 30 autos in there possibly up to 40.

Autos are enticing because you don't have to worry about light schedule but the high is just not there. I've seen some fire looking autos that smelled great but smoking it was like smoking that bud you can buy out of high times magazine. Everyone needs to find out for themselves though.

As far as your lights go for your room, I would say you're better off with 3 600's. It's 200 less watts and you have 3 lights to space out over 30-40 plants rather than 2

Homeboy came through late last night and dropped of a little sfv plant for me to cut off. Mine were just rooted couple weeks ago and I didnt want to cut off them yet. I had to reach out to a trusted friend to get these going quick.

Lol this took me back to when I was a kid. I did this when I was about 12. Made a 3 foot tall flame and burned for like 5 minutes off a half dollar sized glob. I got caught/spanked and didn't do it again. You can burn a house down with that shit be careful

You should snip a clone or two from each female you find. Make a couple moms. Who knows you might find some fire. Ive heard people say on multiple occasions they have a runt or a slower grower, and itll end up being the best pheno out of everything they popped so dont knock the lil guys! Ive never really done a run off seeds. I popped some bagseeds a while back but they died on friday the 13th lol. Havent dived back in since. For now im running moms from clones.

im running 1k right now, next grow im getting another 1k with magnum xxxl if the crop is big enough to pitch in for at least the hoods. im doing mylar on the floor and ceiling and either gonna paint the walls flat white or do mylar on the walls aswell. With 2k ill need ventilation so ill be hooking up a inline fan+controller and charcoal filter.

i already have a 1k @juiceyjay im not gonna dump it to spend a bunch of cash on 600s when ive litterally just bought this ballast lol. doesnt even have a full grow in it yet. 2k should cover basically my entire 12x12 footprint with the plants near the walls just not getting exactly the same primary lighting as the other but i can A suck it up or B run a lil less plants if the results suck

I'd stick with the 1k's and move the plants around if you want to keep growth uniform. Won't f with the ceilings or floor besides protecting from spills, paint the walls flat white with low voc paint. 2 1000s will make you some nuggies for sure

Dude...dont go auto.... Guys please help me tell this dude haha. We were just discussing autos....

man photos just make it complicated with my work schedule. im 5 weeks away and 5 weeks home. so i have to rely on the wife who knows jack shit bout gardening and isnt interested in learning to take care of them when im gone.

id have to plant either just before i leave or just when i get home, if i do it when i get home then i veg for 5 weeks and flip before i leave, or the other way around if i plant just before i leave i veg them for the 5 weeks im away and flip when i get home.

problem is if i flip when i get home means ill leave half way through flower and come back really fuckin close to harvest time. if not a bit past it and ill have to harvest everything the day or next when i get back from work when im usually beat to shit and dont want to do fuckall but sleep.

i dont have a second room to dedicate for a veg room, or a mother room. if i could get my hands on clones around here then thats a different story i could get a nursery going under my t12's but i could only veg those clones till they run out of space on the one shelf i could dedicate to it. but i have no room to keep a mother

i like the fast turnaround on autos basically its fuck veg time

I would also go with piant instead of mylar.mylar gets dirty fast and generally loses its reflectivity ime but my rooms are full of dirty gurlz :)

im taking down the suspended ceiling in that room to gain back the foot of space it takes and to try and seal off the room a lil better for smell (it free vents into my living room so my house reeks right now) and it'll protect the exposed structure from humidity. i just want it on the floor to protect from spills and run off, not really for reflection. i have heavy duty painters tarp down right now and when i move the buckets around ive torn quite a few holes through it.

Well if its for your floor i would def use panda white side up instead of mylar.panda is alot more durable.

I've heard of guys using pond liner on the floor. Maybe nail some foam board on the ceiling.
