And a good good morning to you Mr G gnome.
Up doing yoga with the little woman. She tries to look out for me.
But I still fill my own ice cream bowl @sixstring lol. Carmel, pecans, and chocolate over costco's finest.
my woman waits on me day n night bro.if i filled my own bowl the ice cream would be gone on day 1,hell i would prolly just open the thing and start eating right out the box lmao

@mittenmedgrow . So if you had the most consistent grows with rockwool dtw why did you switch and why haven't you gone back to it.
Main reason for change is boredom. The same reason I've gone through most popular methods of growing over the years. I tend to change methods every few years and I pretty much like all of them. The thing I didn't like about rockwool was the rockwool itself. Didn't like handing it, presoaking it, buying it every round and throwing it away. The benefits of coco I see in the way I grow are that it's reusable from what I can tell indefinitely. I have been reusing for five years and see no reason it can't go another five. Setup between crops is easier, just pull the old and throw in the new. I grow large plants now and it's easier with coco. I grew large plants in 7 gal pots using rockwool flocking hand watering dtw for a couple runs, worked great but still have the waste issue. I like handwatering, I believe I have a better relationship with each individual plant. Im growing these things for months , training them almost daily and getting 2 to3 per plant. Completely different strategy than with rockwool drip. I seem to stay more motivated when I stay busy with the garden. When I was running hydro and everything automated I would get lazy because I knew I didn't have to do anything. I'd go days at a time without looking at them. The way im growing now is hands on everyday, the plants need me. With all the different ways I've grown plants I could go on for days.

I can relate to the get lazy aspect.
Honestly the only thing I don't like about rockwool is the waste.

Oh ya looks like shit.

Here's a pic of a plant I pretty much nailed about a 10 days before chop she finished nice and purdy.
303

No flash = no frost shown but she's got some sugar to her. That chem will look like crap and be dropping leaves in a couple weeks.

oh yeah so fuckin ugly why did you even bother with it ill be right over to rid you of that abomination lol

Oh ya looks like shit.
Quit picking on me, I'm trying to grow Beauty pageant winners over here. Overfed crusty tipped leaf dropping plants are unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

Yeah on a 2x6 about 2ft tall and wide. I think it's a 1 gallon pot. Just cut it off the donor plant today. The rockwool plug was pretty rooted out. We'll see where it goes from here. If it works well and I can figure out the timing here's what I'm thinking. Let's say I have 12 plants in a room flowering and with mom's and veg plants I'm at my numbers limit. If I could time it right I can snap on some of these things and have them ready to cut off and transplant the day I cut the flowering room and already have a plant that would take me at least a month to grow. If these work and I can get the timing right I can see this saving me a lot of time

thats a serious clone @mittenmedgrow
We will see if she takes. It was rooted pretty good before I cut it from the donor so I'm hopeful. I have been playing with these things for a few weeks and rooted one about half this size with no issues. Not sure how deficient she will get before the root system catches up.

That's some pretty crazy shit, being able to root a clone without removing it from the mother first. Amazing really.
