Random But Pretty Cool Convo I Had

The post begins by me waking up one chilly morning and getting a message from a friend that he wanted to drive up north county to visit a plot of land where an older farmer wants to my friend to build him a greenhouse. Anyways i forget how exactly how we got into the convo but we started to talk about how the cannabis scence changed since the u.s started to ease up and how alot of European breeders kinda screwed the cannabis gene pool. Remember for a good while most euro breeders were aiming for buds that threw out red hairs, and I think just different colors on the buds and keaves as well if I recall. Anyways we were talking about what the possibility coulda been if the u.s had it good like them around that time since genetics were hard to obtain in the late 90s. What made the most sense and most mind fucking was when he told me wed know exactly what we would have and maybe even the closet thing to a pure indica or sativa. Idk this guy just made me wanna flash back to the past and or maybe even some old school strains dont get me wrong today's meds are killer but its crossed with so much. Anyways thats my story of the day just thought id share! Have a good one farmers!!!

I have to agree you can't beat some of the older strains.. The issue is too many people crossing with no experience and creating a lot of unstable genetics.. I do love new strains but I have to agree. Cool story thanks for sharing.. :)

you do know that sam the skunkman jacked the california growers for the genetics and took them to europe ?that's when the scene in amsterdam started popping..so in reality the dutch were breeding with american california genetics..do some research and you'll find out.

I know man I heard so many different stories of how European breeders were just taking genetics and watering them down and just creating such a huge false trend and cashing in on it. And by the early to mid 2000s im sure those genetics were even more toast since they made more poly hybrids. The old farmer guy had some sativa strain that he just called haze he had seeds from Mexico back in the day and man he sure kept a winner, it had me lost and wandering my thiughts for a good while.
