Thanks. I like going fast too but try to be safe about it and still have fun. I feel much safer riding in the woods at lower speeds . Technical tree riding, picking a line through the woods opposed to the 100 mph trail riding. We spend quite a bit of time shoveling out or using pulley setups to retrieve sleds out of ravines. It's fun to work as a team to get a buds friend out of the trees all while giving him a hard time.

So when are you coming up here to go to arctic man with me? Every march, 2nd biggest town in alaska when it gets together, no shit 40,000 slednecks tearing up the mountains. Good times.

I'd love to come up there for anything. I've been just about all over the US and went mountain riding out in Colorado and Wyoming but would love to head way up north one of these days. I know a guy that goes up to Alaska every year for the halibut and that sounds like a good time too

Yea halibut are good eating and easy fishing most days. Nothing like the fight of a king salmon still in the ocean though, then add in a few killer whales or porpoises to freak him out and the fun begins.

We fish kings here in Lake mi but there less than half the size of what you guys get. 28 pounds was the biggest out of the lake and I got a 31 pounder out the river a few years ago

Around here we would jokingly call that a jack but its still awesome you have access at all, the runs up here get worse and worse every year as commercial fisherman control the regulations. Im a fish guy, went to school for fisheries bio, nothing gets me up before i want to except taking care of my plants and fishing lol

The fishing in the great Lakes has changed since the introduction of zebra mussels. Salmon are getting scarce and the lake trout has exploded. Here the charter boats control the dnr , charter fishing is a big part of the economy
