It does look a bit like hatched, broken open eggs... are you seeing damage? or more?
Think this was meant for original poster but cant see enough to go further just resembles what ive seen before with little bugs over here the structure of the sac . Inside looks like eggs . The ones we get here go brown once ready and if squashed little blck shits go everywhere .lol
potentially a natural variegation... or a disease... do the marked areas seem to grow in a different way? slower.. or not much at all? or are they just fine growing, but camouflaged?

Not really seeing any damage and I don't see anything moving. There seems to be quite a few of these things on two plants which happen to be the two by the door. I have seen a few box elder bugs when we had a warm up a few days ago.

What are they? Most of these things are clear but some are kinda yellow

Im not sure on yours dont no exact name for ones here but they dont hurt plants there a gnat of some sort bitey little fuckers . Scrape it off and put under micrscope canr do any harm . Could be a sap ball ?It does look like insect honeydew. Litte tiny sap droplets.
