hey everyone does anyone have an experience running a gavita 1k on a light right? If so how did you like it?

I think growermd on YouTube built a setup like that, I'd give his most recent videos a look.

My buddy @madscrapper runs a 750 on one and loves it. Im sure he'll chime in.
Yes sir..I love mine.I don't have high ceilings where I grow,so to prevent my Gavita from cooking my plants, and get the most coverage,I grabbed a light rail.only uses 5w.I love it.only paid around $100.

Hey man I was looking into the rail because I have a 7 foot 8 ceiling and I was thinking the rail would help out. What space are you covering ?

7'8" ceiling sounds nice bud..mines about 6'3"..
I cover about a 8' long,by 5' wide space with mine.it's a 6' rail that is adjustable and I use 4' of it.so I could get more coverage if I wanted.you'd do even better then me with that height u have to work with.gavita de's have a great foot print to start with

i have 6'-8" and i mounted mine on a pocket door track from home depot. Short piece of threaded rod connecting the ballast to the wheels. Its not automatic but it allows me to move it around and out of my way.
I think you can get the track and hardware for less than $50.
