Ph Fluctuations Are Scary...

I wanna know if say I wake up to check ph in single dwc 5 gal system with no res and the pH has raised to 7.4 and I over adjust it to around 5.4. will this drastic change be bad? should pH changes be slowly over an hour??

noticed this today. When the light is off you cant see the spots but I fear they will be totally visible tommorow. kind of odd, my ppm is around the 640 area when the schedule says 1050-1190. perhaps im too low? strain is GDP from oldschool breeders assosciation

No problem, just keep an eye on it with swings like that. Now you will know if you see it =).

Plants can take big swings like that, fish cannot. In my experience.
