I use Atami coco which is prenuted to 0.8 ec, ph 5.8. I just pot straight into the coco from clones then start with 0.8ec and up to 1.2 over a week. I do the same with fytocell or coco (Or perlite and verm mix). I aim for a ph of 6-6.2 and use silicon from day 1. Also use root stims rhizo or Sm6 I prefer SM6 but still have quite a bit of rhizo to use up so rhizo this time. I trialled rhizo vs SM6 and saw no difference but SM6 is twice as concentrated as rhizo and also cheaper per litre and Organic (But compatible with hydro) so it's a no brainer on the stims.

Have been very happy with coco over the years but it does seem slightly slower than Fytocell in the uptake but fytocell has better aeration than coco. Yield wise I've never noticed much in it I've always had the feeling fytocell has he edge over coco but it's really not much and fytocell is much harder to source and at least twice as expensive and if it does yield more we're talking like 2% which is too little too worry about.

Eh up pal. So your feedgoes in at 6.2?? Is that not high for coco? I've heard of ph swings but I didn't think they tale up nutes from coco that high? Or is because you're in the fytocell?

I was into all that shit too.big illegal raves in feilds and big after parties ect.
we also used to go to all the legal ones too like the Rez in Edinburgh,helter skelter in milton keynes and many more allthough they were mostly in Scotland.we were the ultimate hardcore ravers after all.

I usually don't pH at all. Since I'm using biobizz and mycorrhiza products theres no need to pH as the micro herd will adjust pH propoerly, well as long as you don't go dropping anything below 6.2 or so. But that's soil. I check my tap pH here and there and full strength mix, as it happened to my my nute mix was at 5.8 at full strength. Didn't do anything about it and plants really didn't care.

Yeah in soil most plants just charge on regardless with bio bizz(i use that too.nice n simple) buttheres always one or two plants that could be doin with a ph adjustment.

I have hard water I was recommended to run 6.0 in veg and 6.2 in flower by the plant magic people and also growers ark guy backed that up. I used to run 5.8 TBH I'm not that accurate with PH so it ends up between 5.8 and 6.2.

I don't recirculate I DTW and since I started using growers ark I find my reservoir never changes PH more than 0.1 (Always goes up) I make 200l water butts at a time to save hassle and leave a maxijet circulating the res. I still hand water. If it's really hot then I will make the reservoir as I use it but found it easier to get everything spot on with 200l's than with 10l's. When I make growers ark EC to 1.2 or above I find my PH comes out at ~6.5 before adding anything but I use silicon so I still end up using a fair chunk of PH down. Others feeds I've used always come out over 7.0 before I add the acid which makes me think growers ark is more stable because it's already more acidy.

After I make the reservoir I leave it for 1/2 an hour to mix with maxijet before I check the PH and EC but they are nearly always spot on I guess my water is very consistent out the tap as I use syringes and my measurements are normally very good, same amount of ph down today as last week.

I did have wilder ph swings when I recirculated.

Some acid's break down quickly so vinegar or citric acid really are not suitable certainly for keeping for any length of time might be ok to make up as you use.

All that said I might bang my clones in compost as I do have 20l's of biobizz bloom left which is getting old now and I do love fish mix although not the smell or taste lol.

I,ll bring the whistles n glow sticks.not that i bothered wi that shit.i fuckin hated it wen some fanny would blast a whistle right in your ear.or even worse one o those "fog horn in a can" or watever the fuck they were.it was like an aerosole with a wee red plastic trumpet on top and u pressed it and it blasted loud as fuck.dunno if im explaining it very good.
