Haha can't be any worse than the shake I've been smoking. Good thing I am harvesting seeds the dry sift is the only reason I'm alive lol

So I move the fuck away from the VV and >then< you guys decide to convene there for a party? Fuckers. LOL

That valley is pretty locked up for places to go to have any privacy.... but a few come to mind.

Pretty sure you can "picnic" (aka tailgate) @ the Eagle River Preserve in Edwards. The entrance is a 1/2 mile or so west of the main intersection (where Village market is) on Hwy 6. You can see folks coming/going up/down the hill from the parking lot so even though it's basically right in town it may offer enough privacy that with some discretion it could work. It's right down the hill from my old house and I used to walk my dogs there and smoke joints by the river all the time. Gonna depend on the day/how busy/if there's anything going on in the area/etc.
Everything else in town but the Rest Area is locked up tight/privately owned/etc. Fuckin rich people....

West of the Wolcott exit (Wolcott is 6 miles West of Edwards) on Hwy 6 (north of 70) is a BLM day use/picnic/camping spot that is usually fairly empty. To get there you'd exit @ Wolcott...head north...turn left..go through Wolcott/past the 131 N turn...then go a mile or so W and it's on the right. Riverside with some pinyon/etc.

Just south of 70 @ the Minturn exit on 24 there's a bridge that goes across the eagle river to a backroad that heads south to minturn. It parallels the river and you can pull over about anywhere. Not much traffic...folks boonie camp along there or park to fish in Summer. Not the greatest spot but close to 70 and you probably wouldn't be bothered and can see both ways on the road should po-po or someone else decide to snoop in on ya.

that or you could all come down here to Funkytown...... ;-)

Lets hold off till weekend seems more of us knuckleheads can get together...
Can do either, meet up around Edwards on Sat or you all can come to farm got plenty of room and lots of grub.. We possibly could do a float the river is real high and stained so no fishing but a float would be a blast lower section of the Gunnison, could stop and explore some petrogliffs...

I can't make it to the farm, I have to get back to Denver in the afternoon, sometime.

Seems like scoop knows the spots, I don't so just tell me where to go and who needs a ride. @scoop, you may not be there in person, but you'll be there in the form of purple cheddars and PTA's and slyders.

You'll have to count me out, I received an invite to my little brother's graduation (is it an invite or a fuck you that I received days before an event scheduled weeks ago?). 18 year old brother my parents have lied to since he was 10 about what I do for a living. Should be awkward and demeaning. Blegh.

You should probably hire some strippers for the event, would make your bro's day and be a good f you right back for the late invite. Turn it out/up/on/over there or whatever the current nomenclature is.

Where is a good place to source some rennet (spelling?) for cheese making. Found it online of course, but if there are local places that carry it that would be great as it is a hobby that interests me...since I eat a comically large amount of cheese. Haven't gone to specialty cheese shops, but have struck out so far with specialty cooking/food stores.

leaves the house comes back in a couple minutes, my friend has blade in hand chopp chopp snort snort cringe cringe.

They already think I'm some sort of junky, unwise to give them anything to judge me further. Probably I will just bring him a card and a good book, wish him well, then leave. At best I'll just play outside with nieces and nephew for the rest of the time, which sounds pretty great really.

I believe I will be in, either day is fine. Will probably just stop in for lunch and such, will have family in tow to go check out some hiking in the area so nothing too debaucherous for me.

Assuming nothing changes in my fickle ability to keep or make plans.
