So I built a new sealed room 16x24 drywalled and painted. I am getting yellowing on new growth starting at the base of leafs. Running in bionicare moisture mix Coco with canna bytes. Running strains I have been running for years in other rooms with no problems. I have flushed the pots , checked run off pH and ppm all good. Looks kind of like a iron issue so tried foliar with ph'd cal mag solution. Tried adding c02 by tank, brought plants in from a 3rd room doing same thing??

I hope you didn't use Chinese drywall lol. Looks like your PH is way off in your medium. I'm gonna move this thread to the infirmary.

I had a similar issue keep pumping the cal mag, get some Azos, your local grow store should have. In my case it took about 10 days they snapped rite back.

Looks like a Fe deficiency from here. Challenge with nutes is many conditions can mimic others. PITA. Process of elimination. I would see about adding some Fe to your feed and see if you get any results. @Seamaiden may be able to help as well.

Heres a link on iron chlorosis. pay attention to the para that talks about similar symptoms that can confuse the diagnosis. Peace man

I notice the first 1-3 runs in a newly built rooms always seem to fuck plants up. For me. Maybe it's some off gassing from new materials. Not hard to imagine since everything the American consumer buys is......chinese. not a hell of a lot of quality control over there, let alone safe materials. Also if you burn a c02 burner ethylene (byproduct of burning hydrocarbons ) gas could be building up and that is a factor. Not saying you don't have a deficiency, just saying there are several factors to look for when diagnosis of sick plants.

I'm with sticky. This doesn't look like any deficiency I've had experience with, and it looks really odd. I've never worked with sealed rooms unless you count aquaria, and even those are open to the air.

Is it possible to move the plants out of the sealed area and see if they'll grow out of it? That could help in making a good diagnosis.

I'm just getting over the exact same thing. Revamped my veg room, not even sealed and with fresh air coming in. Within a day of going in there healthy vigorous plants were drooping and a week later looks like that. In order to accurately diagnose my room I covered the walls and ceiling with 3 mil drop cloth and sealed seams with aluminum duct tape. Bam... Healthy plants. And I used an expensive <50 VOC interior paint. Live and learn

This is unfamiliar territory for me. What's <50 VOC interior paint? I understand the interior bit, the paint bit and even the VOC bit, just not the <50 bit.

I'm glad you figured it out so quickly!

The less then 50 means how many grams per liter of voc. < 50 is almost as low as you can get, I'm guessing it's a certain compound in the brand of paint I used that's causing problems.

Sorry everyone for not getting back sooner. After trying everything I could think of I had no choice but to vent the room and like magic within 3 days they started coming back. Still have no idea what was offgassing but something is. Room is happy now and about to flip for the first run!! Ty to everyone who took the time to help ✌
