dumbness is wasted on you my friend ........ so you need to build a roller shutter and be a fire alarm engineer to wire the relays ???? nope a sparky does that you thick cunt
Nope a panel wire does that u fucking bell end all a spark would do is put a fused spur to where they need it the company that fits the shutter will then put the cable into the spur actually and fire alarm systems are pretty much a trade all by them selves

The 13amp growell contactor I burnt out had a 10amp! relay in I forgot that lol that's why they say only switch 2 600w although I happily switched 3 600w with it for years then when I tried a 4th one it came on but it never went off.

mate you wanna watch who ya name calling ... theres saying shit in jest then theres just being a fucking prick
Nope u tried making me look like I talk shit as did gay gnome with his little bam comment don't take me for a dick or u will be spoken to like 1 it's that simple show a little respect and u will also receive it it's not that complicated really :)

Right my understanding 13 &14 are the live/neutral for energising the relay (The switch basically)
9 is the load
1 is NO contact
5 is NC contact

Does this make sense Toaster79?

I'm 99.9% sure I'm right looking at that diagram. I only just found this relay the ones I was using have crap diagrams on them but same pinout. I was being stoned earlier and connected the load to 13 and tried to use 1 as the switch which is obviously retarded.

13 and 14 are terminal for the supply

9 and 1 are normally closed
9 and 5 are normally open

12 and 4 are normally closed
12 and 8 are normally open

Obviously this will be the opposite depending on powered up or powered down

I got a guy arguing w me that more watts doesn't equal higher yield i told em to rmfao! Its on a thread called please help
Theres a limit to how much par they can take so over that is a waste but on the same strength too little is bad too :)

Yo Toaster79 am I right with how to wire the relay?

Yep mate you've got it right. Also ninja got you covered. Might be the relay is crap. The old one craped on you because there was too much current going through contacts and came to arching, burnt contacts which eventually got welded together.

I got it working ;) quality electrics as always lol.

Thanks for the heads up

Do you like how I used the earth wire to carry the live from the switch highly illegal ;)

so i type that , after all that asking and i dont even get a like or thanks .... wont bother next time lol

fuck me man , you would be better off wiring a plug on the adapter and a socket on the flex and just plug a timer in between than running that death trap LOL

I just wanted to make sure it worked I'm going to put it in an IP 65 enclosure and spade terminals direct to the relay with conduit and glands to be classy lol and cause I have shit loads of it. This has a certain charm though lol. This is a test bed I used to use for working out how to use relays that's why there's 2 relay sockets on it used to be 2 junction boxes and a 2nd set of sockets that I stole years ago lol.

This isn't for lights I'm switching about 7w solednoid it has nothing to do with growing.
