Your just 1 of them guys who just wanna do it different who stands there scratching your head wondering why your only able to get 1 crop out a year and when u do your only pulling half of what u should. Plants need air exchange unless your guna go the sealed room route which comes with its own set of problems more weight but not as good quality so not really worth the 1000s in equipment. Like us they need food water and air take any of those out of the equation is not ideal sorry for being so blunt bro but there's some things u just can't get around

the cheap oscillating fans are absolute shite, no point even having them in there with the amount of air they dont move etc, tried em all from 4" upto 12", they take up too much space and are too noisy etc, box fans would be much better for me as they move more air and are a lot flatter so dont take up as much room etc

I have my reasons for not running fans a few years ago my neighbour asked why the outhouse always hummed and have never ran inline ducting fans in there again. I didn't grow for years so not worried about neighbour being suss or anything and I get on with them well there just a blithering old couple.

But I was kind of bating you lol couldn't resist, of course plants will grow better with constant fresh air from outside and temps ~25-28 but you can get away with high temps and slightly reduced levels of co2 I have a proper co2 meter I've been monitoring them to make sure they don't drop below 350ppm which I decided was my limit to put fans in the system. Because I use ozone the air is kept relatively clean as I noticed my LSF disappear when I turned the ozone on.

I keep my humidity high at moment 75% which is the key to growing high temperature and will do until week 6 at that point I will add a dehumidifier and probably wire in a rhino with an rvk for the last few weeks to end.

Luckily the canopy grew in before I spiked at 30c+ so no light hits the planters and soil temp is ~23c just before I water and I water once a day with 15C feeding mix to waste.

I'm not unhappy with how the plants are developing at the moment after 15 days of flower they looked ok to me and I checked other GG4 diaries and the development seems to be in the zone. The main thing I'm seeing difference is the plants are hardly stretching at all but that's phototropism at work. They've only stretch a few inchs really since I flicked flower which was the 13th but I turned the lights off for 1 day whilst I gave them abamectin as I have a minor mite infection which is what worries me more than anything but abamectin is very very good stuff it should eradicate any traces of mites it a single dose. I also released preds in the surrounding areas outside the outhouse to hopefully reduce the likely hood of reinfection.

I'm expecting lots's of 1/8ths rather larger colas as I only have the wattage at 20w/sqft to cover 1.6m*1.2m at the moment was intending to run at 30w's but too hot for 600w.

If click my link in sig you can see them yesterday temps have been 95f since the day I went flower give or take a few f.

95f in new money is 35c

The biggest pain in the bum with only 1 lamp is you have to try and find the sweet spot vertically to hang it, getting the plant to light distance is easy getting the right height is pure guess work lol. If it grows much taller over the next 14 days then lighting choices will need to be made

It's my first grow in 4 years Mancdank so why complicate things with fans and the like ;) I'm flicking the lights 12/12 by hand at moment lol if that tells you anything.

I am finding the GG4 stems are quite fragile which is made it hard to train as I keep snapping bits off. If I was to run GG4 on it's own I would definitely do it in coco, Fytocell or the best way by far would be hydroton recirc with the pump running 24/7 so I could load the silicon on. I did wonder instead of scrogging if I was not better off topping them. The trim off only a few fan leaves and add a net for supporting the colas after going flower.

The GSC are considerably behind the BC & the GG4 after reading Mr Bee's comments I'm happy I did them but only 1 stack of them not expecting the most off them but if it's a nice smoke I'm going to be very happy still.

Need variety no matter how good weed is it gets boring quickly if it's the only type you've got.

That actually looks pretty similar too a skywalker og leaning abimal walker i had.apparently theres a few skywalker og cuts but looks like seed junky n dna use the same one.
the one i had was really nice with nice earthy fuely tones with a wee touch o creaminess.yeild was poor though so i didnt keep it.

So my 3 reg Mr Nice CS turned up yesterday, been germing them since between some kitchen roll on a saucer under a bowl in my veg cupboard. So can report they're not a 24hr popper but lookin nice n swollen nonetheless, fingers crossed they'll at least germ 100% unlike barneys CK! Anyway I went ahead and bought a single autopot today to give it a try then if I like will add at least 3 more or maybe 7 and another res, see how it goes. I thought it was extremely cheap at £30.00 inc resevoir!

Im looking forward to trying it. My mate offered to lend me an IWS system today with as many pots as I need. But seeing as I run two lots of 4 so I can harvest monthly aprox, I think its prob not worth the 150mile round trip to get it. As I would only be able to use it on 4 plants due to feeding. I could of course lose a month and run a full 8 on it at same time but really dont like the idea of losing another month what with losing so much time due to my move last year then stopping to get a cupboard built. Cos of course after he wants it back I have another 150mile round trip into the depths of South London to return it.

Will see how these autopots work out first before I decide though as I cant borrow it till August anyway. Then it would be for prob 9mths - a year

Also if it's the auto pot with a float system use a little ata clean every now and then to stop the switch fucking u and dumping your res :)

Thanks! Yes its abit of a toilet cistern by the look of it, been reading up on it! Its the blue valve unit, made by Autopot! Whats ata?

It's used to keep dripper systems clean and stop em from blocking up but I use it every other week or so if I'm using iws or anything with them type of switches
