This question is specific for UK growers.....How/where do you dump your used growing mediums?

Ive asked my local grow shop, who has a unit in a garden centre with a large space out the back which is car/lorry accessable to get a skip for dumping our mediums he could charge say a £1 a sack (thats a guestimate) which he could potentially sell the sacks too. Us growers could safely dump and he gets us visiting his shop again, he's considering it

I ask as I feel too vulnerable taking it to a local tip and dont like tipping it anywhere. Infact I feel most para about everything when I am out dumping it. Be interested to hear what others do?

Them old timers at allotments love it :)

im guessing you are talking about growing medium for a couple of plants? Like literally 1 sack full? Why would you feel para taking that to the tip?

I have about 4 sackfulls at mo and I just feel para about dumping even 1 sackload at the tip cos thats still an awful lot of houseplants.

Thats a great idea but unfortunately all the old timers round here all seem pretty anti any drugs. Thats just my experience from the local community club where I have to pay to park each month so I generally stop for a drink when I pay my parking.

Maybe it is time to pull on my big boy pants, I just feel para cos my motor is registered to me at my address local tips are cctv'd up and I just worry about some busy cunt that might work there etc, thats all. But input all appreciated! Thank you gentlemen! :)

If anyone says anything just say you've been clearing out a house you own that the police know about, moan about what a pain in the arse it is and you've had to have a day off work. Then blame it on immigrants and say we are better off out of europe.

you dont need to say anything, at most your are just clearing a back yard
