Has Anyone Tried Trifecta Crop Control?

Sounds really scary to me. Hope you find someone that knows for sure one way or the other. Insecticides and systemic's can be really scary stuff. What's it made from? I would recommend some neem oil for the mites and powdery mildew. If that's what your facing. It's really up to you to pick what to use but I have had bad experiences with stuff stronger than neem and would love for you to learn from my mistakes. Mixing seaweed with my neem oil spray always seems to help too. Don't know why but when I use seaweed mixed with my neem oil already at half strength I don't burn anything. Good luck man and I hope someone comes along that knows that product

Thanks for info but I was able to get a sample and it worked on the mites. There is no insecticide in it. Also it is on list for use on the herb It does not leave a residue on plants like some made with essential oils. For me,Neem oil works well as a deterrent; not really effective on mites once infested.

I was actually pretty surprised when I read about it, because I was fully expecting some seriously nasty shizzy to be listed in the ingredients, something that I'd be seeing advertised in the Central Valley on Hwy 99, next to the "Another Farmer for Trump" signs. They also call it an adjuvant, so that means it can be used with other products at the same time.



What I don't know is how it's regulated in California.

I know I got two samples, One Trifecta Crop Control and the other is Trifecta Boost. I believe that is the adjuvant that you are talking about. They say it is in the fine milling process that makes these things work. Will know how it works on powdery mildew as I just spotted a little on some other plants. I know the guy said 2 oz per gal of water on Crop Control

I had an infestation of russet mites

Trifecta is basically a mix of essential oils, don't have it in front of me but (peppermint garlic etc...) it will not kill the mites but will repel them. I have not had any at all but used a multitude of things to keep them back. Let me know if any of this sounds bad please.

Guard to knock them back
next day Kumulus df (water soluble sulfur) do not use in flower and wash off with yucca over the course of a couple weeks
3 days later Combination of guard, met 52, dipel, actinovate

5 days later grandevo

5 days later only to mix it up and for cost reasons I used Organocide

THEY ARE FLOWERING NOW

Guard again

every 4-5 days Trifecta for the last few weeks and nothing we are quitting sprays now as we are cutting in 2 weeks while the weather is nice we are rinsing plants off with yucca extract.

NO RUSSET MITES ANYWHERE TO BE SEEN.

I AM ALSO BLEACHING THE ENTIRE PERIMETER OF GARDEN OUT SIDE OF POTS ETC... TO MAKE SURE ANY THAT ARE NOT ON THE PLANT ARE DEAD.

KUMULUS DF was the trick that knocked them dead in there tracks, I know everyone will say no sulfer but I am confident it is off of all the plants by now and it never touched a flower.

I use a hudson fogger and get phenomenal coverage this is key as you want to absolutely drench every millimeter of the plant (as long as weather is on your side)

AGAIN IF YOU THINK I DID SOMETHING BAD ~ PLEASE I CAN TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AND WANT TO ONLY IMPROVE!

Killed my mite problem, using only Trifecta Crop Control. Spoke with a rec grower near Portland who told me that Trifecta was the only thing that worked on his russet problem. Did not have to use all those other ingredients. You need to do what you have to get rid of your problem but I think you are using a bit too much. Prevention is best but that sure is a cocktail. The Hudson ulv is a great machine but is quite expensive. Have used the Stihl SR 450 sprayer retrofitted with a Spectrum electrostatic sprayer for less than half the cost of a Hudson.

actinovate will do absolutely nothing for russet mites. Actinovate used to be my go to for pm but I think the pm on my property has become immune to it.

you can't beat the Borg i sprayed neem oil in veg also hit them with forbid 4f followed by avid then 120 degree heat treatments in flower that only got me through flower but could still find them on some leaves. the only way to get rid of them for good is to toss everything and bleach the whole place.

Did your weed pass the new standards?

I use a cheep paint sprayer it also works good. If you run bleach thru anything with rubber wash it out when done. The list of what it works well with is long but for a mg dose it brings almost instant response. I usually spray just after lights out. Then next night I spray with just RO water.
While your fogging or spraying be careful to cover the media and not let it drip into the media neem is not good and will cause root deformation if you get it in the media. You will see it in the newest leaves.

didn't have my herbs tested. I sprayed the poisons in veg hoping there wouldn't be any residual left in the plants by chop time. I'm still alive so I guess no residuals.

It takes inhalation poisons years to show them selves. Smoking tobacco takes years.
Dioxins takes 2 to 5 years to effect you. So if you have strange cough when (if) you make 50 you were wrong.

Any one still using Trifecta? I am going to give it a go this week. light spider mite activity. will be more of a maintenance spray. will update results.

Yes, I think they are as it can be found in most Hydro shops from southern Oregon to Portland
