so yes you are correct on the amount of water you need in the tray ....
I kinda don't understand the problem though with not getting enough pumping...the pump should just keep pumping for 15 minutes....the whole time......as the water reaches the overflow..it will drain back into the res causing a cascade effect.....after 15 minutes the pump shuts off and the water should drain down from the pump side......if it is not doing that then it is the pump or a kink in the hose....
I have a suggestion that is way doper then auto's......and much faster

a mother and her clones

way faster
you can have flowers blooming and about 3 weeks before they finish you cut more clones and root them....
after about 7-12 days they should be rooted
the next week in a half you pot them and start to veg
when your flowers are done...you move the clones straight into flower

Deff agree! And I want to learn super cropping and scrogging,, Its all about that canopy. I ordered the autos so they can run on thier own. But I ordered 2 different strains of photos, to go with my delicious Candy photo. So that will make 3 strains of photos. Which one of you want to donate a stud for me to mate with them? lmao... I never thought I would want a male this bad. All seeds were feminized. I didn't order enough to take a chance on not getting a female. Just 4 seeds of each. Picking a suitor for my young daughters,,, help!

That was my thinking too. But I am gonna get the clone thing down, and down quick... I just can't do anything unless I do it well. But I don't think it will be that hard. Hell if they can raise a boy in a bubble, i can raise some clones in a dome :)

again...if you have a mom...you don't need seeds at all.....shit takes to much time to dick with.....I only run seeds when I want a new strain
and now I have so many clone banks here in Cali...I can go to one and get real deal cuts from the dudes that make the seeds.....keep that as a mom...although I do like the excitement of what may be learkin in that seed

Also you don't really need to consume that much power
for the clones....1 2' T-5
for veg....1 4' 8 bulb T-5
for flower....what ever you want.....
so the clone and veg really don't take much power at all
you could run a 2x4 tray for the veg
so you clone say 12 plants
once rooted you stick them in the 2x4 tray in 1/2 gal plastic pots
in 2 weeks you transplant to 1 gal and throw on the 3x3 tray under a 600
that starts to be much more then personal...as that will net you crazy yields perpetual
oh yeah and make sure you dedicate a space to drying.....Maybe a tent for that stuck in a corner

Awesome! I was beginning to wonder if I bought the tent for no reason. It can be my new drying tent. And I already have a 2' t-5, and a 4' 4 bulb t-5, and the 600. We should be thru this heat wave by middle of Sept, and I should be ready to start my new seedlings.
I also got these free seeds, and they said they was gonna double up all my seeds....

Yea I have this 12 bulb 2x4 t5, I've got 250g off it with a critical jack. It's a hit lil bastard tho.

How many bulbs can get by with in veg wish?

When I'm vegging the mother and the clones I won't feel so bad running it. With one plant under it I'm wasting half the fixture.

ikr... Could be pulling some nice weight outta that space. I'd prob buy a couple tents and call it a day down there. The cheap ones work as his as the expensive ones. Maybe a couple 4x8 and a 4x4 for veg. There's tons of options. I wish someone made a cheap one that has dividers/partitions built in for seperate rooms.

Just send me the silver lol... I am sure down the road, we could swap a few strains. Ain't no reason we should have to keep using the seed bank, unless its to get our hands on some new great strain, and even then, @Wisher619 will prob have cracks at it before we even know about it. Hell he prob knows about secret strains being researched at Area 51 right now........

if I were you I would keep everything where it is.....and scrog the shit out of the Photo...hella flat...dont let anything bend up towards the light...and when it does...get it back down flat......when things get to crazy you can take tops and practice cloning........about 2 weeks before the autos are done...flip down to 12/12.....the autos will finish hard and you will have a GIANT canopy
those plants look beautiful....they are starting to feed on your energy

@Midwestjay I would only really use 6 bulbs...which would be plenty
how many plants....well depends on the size of the pot....I would say if you are running half gal squares....
and thats 4 squares to a sqft......then 64 plants......but anything under that would be fine...for vegging
1/4 that if you wanted to run say 1 1/2 gal per sqft and bush each out say double top them before flower
