Yes. It will add a few weeks, but worth it in my case to help keep the plant shorter for my tent and I end up with 8 tops rather than 1.

Yes but not much. Anywhere between 1-3weeks depending on number of desired tops.

And like @Tomcat said it gives many more potent tops to enjoy in a smaller space:)

Lights off...first day of week 4 12/12

So, went out last night about 7pm to check on the plants and found the power had been out all day. Hope that hiccup doesnt fuck them up.

The lights off thing should not be a big deal just reset the timers to what they were and continue on like nothing happened

Do believe that no lights are a helluva lot better then lights on all night. Light leakage is the major cause of "hermies". Only had one plant ever hermie on me and the smoke was as good as any.
