Though the well water is likely a contributing factor, the issue is that you're using the wrong inputs.

Yeah im gonna switch to the whole uc line n run sterile

You're using too many inputs.
Root excel, bud candy and pro tek are all problematic in UC's.

Just wanted to come back and thank you guys for the super helpful advice. Went sterile and everything is looking great. I was not able to get my hands on any new line of the veg a & b. So i used the sample bottles that came with the systems, along with cal mag n my new purchase of uc roots. Had it run at 500 scale at 400ppm for week 3 as i use trays n put them on flood n drain weeks 1-2. Plants grew super slow at week 3 n no root growth until about 2 weeks later be4 it started growing rapidly. Which was becuz i boosted ppm to 870 after midweek 4. Now im on vege at week 6 n about to finally l drop them in flower. As i waited so long for this group to be ready to flower, ive decided to drop 9 plants into 1 of my flower rooms and vege the other groups i had intended to drop in my vege room but the first group of vege had taken too long. So i tried again in this 9 site 13xl to run current cultures old nute line of veg a n b, uc roots, n calmag at ppm of 850 on week 3. Its been 1 week n im still hand feeding due to no root growth into water yet. But 4 nights ago i had dropped in another 8 plants into my other flower room of 8 sites and decided to try my house n garden vege a n b again to see if it was diff. Set my ppm at 750 with uc roots n cal mag too. Bammmm root growth after 4 days. Stronger, thicker, n healthier than the roots ive got in the plants ive vege on week 6. I mean not as long as the 6 week vege roots but damn they grew down to water after 4 days... i couldnt believe the diff. My dilema now is i had ordered the new line of the current cultures vege a n b 2 weeks ago n they finally got it in stock. Should i try the new line or stick with house n garden? Also when is the best time to flower? When roots are touching the bottom of the buckets? Or can i even start flowering once roots touch water? Im asking cuz i got some big plants that are ready to flower but roots arent grown into water level yet, so im not sure if it matters.

Why are you at 850 in week 3? Have you referenced the feed chart or any recommendations that CC has for using the UC?
Even if you choose to use H&G you shouldn't be running levels so high.

Also, your roots need to be touching the water at all times for the plants to hydrate. Have you hit up CC for tech support?

It seems confusing how you can have large plants in a dwc system but the roots have yet to touch the water. There are a variety of issues to address or you'll be struggling.

1) drop EC to CC recommendations for week 3 veg (0.6) or 300-350ppm
2) raise water level to contact roots
3) send the above post to cc and see what their tech support suggests

Post pics of your plants.

sneakyx16 I'm no pro but have been growing with under current and H&G for a while. I don't have all the answers but have made a lot of mistake and learned a lot. Out of all the products to help with root rot and slime I think watermax from clean grow works the best. If you have root rot the best product is is regen-a-root by cx hydroponics. This product makes the plant drop new roots. I find this product works better in my setup than the h&g roots excel. I have a large pond master air pump feeding air injection technology spider stones. I find these give off a ton of air and are easy to clean. I think the best way to clean it is to pump it down and vacuum it out, refill and add in 29% hydrogen peroxide I try to run it for 24hrs but have only run it for about 4 hrs. It cleans the system real well and makes the air stones work like new. I haven't changed air stones for about 2 years. I was alway clogging the disk and stone ones. I also find less nutes does better than more. I run the entire h&g line half strength. Hope this helps ya
