Just pay your bill. As long as your not stealing power, late on your bills, imo power conpanies don't give a crap.

In a illegal state I don't think it would look right if my bill is 1200 lol from what I've read

What if you have 14 tvs going for NFL ticket, reptiles, home hospice care. They all use more power than a general household.

How about solar panels on your roof?
Would you be able to pull enough energy to pull 70 amps for 12 hours a day and I'm looking to spend about 5k on some other source of energy I don't know how expensive they would be sounds pretty costly

Just after reading so much about them doesn't seem like you get the right light penetration to the whole plant and the yeild just isn't there not saying people can't get good bud with them I just think the yeild is much better with hps

You might consider the Boulder Lamp 315w Agro CDL (ceramic discharge lamp) with bulb by Philips. It draws 315w of power but provides the equivalent of 600w of light. Boulder claims it is cooler than any other light, including LEDS. The spectrum is superior, imo. I will use 7 of these instead of 4 thouies. The calculation is 4,000w of the standard 1k lights divided by 600w = 6.7 of the 315w lights, rounding up gives me 7 of the 315w lights. Then my power usage is simply 7 times 315 = about 2200w. So I am cutting my power usage almost in half, though there is still air conditioning, fans, pumps, etc.

LEDs grow good bud, but I have heard they lack the penetration of a Gavita or other 1k light. I can't say for sure what the penetration of a Boulder 315w is like b/c I have not yet used it. According to Boulder, folks are pulling 1 lb per 315w light. I hope this helps someone.
