Good morning OFC. Good to see some of the old farts back. Me ?, it`s deer hunting season, almost. Rifle opens Tuesday, muzzle loading on the 2nd of December. Contemplating using my muzzleloader during rifle season as I have never shot anything with it. Besides, it`s on my "bucket list". And it`s a blast to shot, teaches you to make every shot count. Makes the old adage true, "one shot, one kill". "Mr. Rogers" was a decorated Vietnam combatant, he wore that sweater all the time to cover his tats. He was not the meek teacher he came across as. Let`s get on with the morning session of "wake n bake". Got my coffee, packing a bowl and here we go, puff, puff, cough and pass.
PS, It`s that time of the year, I will not be around as much as usual for the next month. I`ll be deer hunting, never know when it`ll be my last hunt, starting to feel my age.

Yeah, the days are shorter and I have more to do. Gotta go to camp and fire up 2 wood burners and cut a small deadfall outta the way. Work, work, work, but it`s worth it. Later.

I couldn't stand the hypocrisy over there. Politics are forbidden UNLESS you're a moderator and your views are left of Chairman Mao. I left before they could ban me. Fuck 'em.

my dad died ,and the guy at the funeral home asked me what his nationality was . I said Hillbilly. He would not put that in the obit. But my grandmother took me down in the hollow and showed me where her grandmother lived. Giggy that was EVA. Hell as far back as we know we was hillbillies.

later found out the whole county was bought by a German and imported all Germans into the area. They did not own slaves, so after the civil war, there were no blacks in the area. Not because they were racists ,but there were no slaves freed in the area.

My family came during the irish potato famine, both sides, stayed in new york city long enough to gather some cash, then got the heck out of there.

My grandfather told me his dad said there were signs in shops in new york 'no irishmen, no niggers'

Where is my damn safe space, ive triggered myself.
