The canes aren't to hold em up theyr more to keep the tops in place so I add em at start of bloom

going to try something like that this time round, i end up with string tied to hooks all over the place its like a fucking cobweb but it does work a treat.... do you find that it hurts their roots all????

my next round of babies, the four on the left are the first keepers I've found. so popped some more beans as i wasn't able to get any cuts from the previous... but these look as vigorous as the last... far left 707 truthband and middle bubbas gift were popped at the same time. bubba was slow in veg so was expecting her to be a bit slower.. far right are couple of autos of which i normally do a couple, these are lovely too, sweet afghan delicious by sweet seeds nicest autos I've grown by far, they come close in flavour to regular photos more so than any other auto I've grown... I'm expecting great things from both 707 and bubba....the bubba was purple and sweet and smelt awesome and packed a punch a true all rounder... 707 was beautiful smelt like citrus heaven and was a great motivator... i will look for some buds in a minute to take some photos of...

Not atall.and if u gotta use string hooks damn even a pair of old women's tights can be put to good use but for me it's canes and the twisty plastic coated green wire.it sometimes digs in if left too tight on a growing stem or branch but it's never affected anything I could tell.some people use pipe cleaners instead so theyr not damaging stems etc.its a good idea but theyr only a few inches long at best.iv seen me practically make a full scrog net out the twisty green wire.handy stuff to have in a grow room

Infact cancel that question as I just noticed u said it was slow.thats the one drawback of bubba-the slow veg.imagine u had an extremely fast begging bubba that gave off the same quality and seriously meaty nugs as the slow bubba.every one would grow it.for a while a few years back it seemed like everyone WAS growing bubba.i like the taste and density of bubba nugs but it's finding that pheno that gives the same on a faster plant

I was attempting to use some stiff plastic climbing plant netting with about 1.5 inch squares for a scrog but it's gotten out of hand and is more of an lst with support netting. The actual netting works really well, I've just got it fastened to the poles of my tent with bungee cords and I'm using thick rubber coated wire to tie the plants to it, it's about 3-4mm thick so it won't cut into your stems and it's reusable, so costs a bit more at first but then you never need wire again. 'thick twist plant tie' mine is called and I picked it up in the local pound shop
