The frequency of the flapping wing occurs at a level sufficient to dislodge the pollen from the plant. There are glasshouses here testing a speaker than mimics the beat of a bees wing to pollinate crops under cover.
The bee is a funny creature right, it hasnt enough trigger proteins to enable an antibiotic system it owns. It must be modulated by p-Courmaric acid, a critical component of pollen and mycohoney, but where there are so many pollutants, the bee is struggling to make it home. A bee on a flower it has about 2 weeks or less left to live, the process of collecting pollen vibrates the bee to death.

What an odd creature

I received my 12 bulb t5 fixture today.
It will go into the lower veg chamber.
It will put out 24,000 initial lumens.
Once broken in will be around 21k lumens.

Divided by 4 cu ft.
That's 6,000 initial lumens per cu ft.
Once broken in its 5,250 lumens per cu ft.

It will be beast. I will take down my 8 bulb and use it for the new tent.

I ordered 12 new mixed spectrum t5 bulbs today for the new fixture

I'm too lazy to open the box for pics.
I'll do that another day.

Turns out seedling #1 is a male.

This is the first time a plant has ever shown sex from seed in my lower veg chamber. Must be a virile male. I better isolate him as soon as I can.

Maybe when my 2nd tent gets here I'll have a good place for him. I wouldn't mind some pollen. (@thunderfudge if I made any crosses with your genetics it would be personal stash only). maybe some for @jumpincactus if you gave me the ok ;)

Catching him this early is good. It leads me to guess I may have as many as 3 females left.

This means I can train them more to compensate for the missing plant.
Usually once I flip them for sexing. The chance for training is over.

Hopefully the rest will reveal themselves too. It would make my job much easier.
fine by me bro.I'd just make sure he doesn't advance too quickly or you're strolling down autoflower lane.I'd pluck the sacks and see what he does.you've got over a week before u should have to worry about pollen.the sacks still have to mature and elongate off the stem before it's a concern

my buddy just found this in his garden.that's close!

this guy was trashed for flowering at a 16 hour threshold.showing a nut is ok,but busting one is another.lol

So what I've heard about some rootbound plants autoflowering is true?

It's either stress from growing close to the t5's. Or it is just revealing it's sex. They will all be 3 weeks old tomorrow. Wow they grew alot in 3 weeks.
it looks a bit like its struggling to pick up N, the reddening of the stem in streaks may point to a lite N issue which in turn may have degraded the relevant GH production via a lack of available protein conversion within the allotted timeframe? Since plants tend to work like clocks a bit, the window of opportunity to ensure the right proteins are in place may be brief, even if its impacts longer lasting :-) Spotted anyway so no harm done.
Of course excessive light where CO2 levels are depleted can also produce this stem stress signal I have seen this too, I suspect it has something closer to do with a relationship between CO2, available N, Mg and Fe in the photo-system, which in turn may see a shortening of activity, where the downstream impacts result in less of the 4 fundamentals of energy exchange being produced through each Kreb cycle.
is it organic in soil or?

Roots 707 organic
Earth juice organic nutes (Full line)
Blackstrap molasses
Earth juice mychorizae
Earth juice microbes
Neptune's harvest hydrolyzed fish and seaweed fertilizer.
Nutrients and microbes aerated 1-2 days before use

the plant is under some stress, likely the reason it threw the nanas?
that's a straight male sack 3-4 nodes down where the plant was topped. He was definitely mature enough to make sacks, but not stable enough to keep them in his crotch.

I'd expect a few in this line as its all pretty raw stuff.it's bodhi g13/hp x DSB black afghan(rare) crossed to a purple #1 male from old Dutch passion stock.

I prefer males that don't stack any nuts until they're on 12/12,pass a drought/bind test, and can do a week or 2 on odd light schedules without busting nuts.that's the way to line yourself up for stable progeny
