hey guys, is blue sky in oakland the only club in the bay area that will accept patients without the bay area counties card? i had a recent run in where i wasnt allowed into a bay area club because i didnt have the county card. wtf? im from sacramento county...do i need to go to the patient id center in oaktown and get a county card to go into bay area clubs? someone enlighten me please! i wanna hit up some more clubs down there but dont wanna drive then get rejected again.

p.s. in sac county we just need our id and current recommendation. no county card bullshit

Hey bud.. Do you have your OCBC card???? If not you need to get that one.. That is your golden key to any CA club:icon_cookie:

Last time I check. All one was suppose to have is

1. California picture ID, or Driver's License
2. Your doctor's recommendation

I'm personally getting tired of hearing this same story. Sway, sorry to hear this happen to you. The problem is these people are to "LAZY" to call in the recommendation. No, they rather have some card, so they can save time and someone else make money off of the card.

Now I understand saving time and I personally hate waiting in line for a long time, but people like Sway and myself. Come from outside counties and don't have a card and don't want to spend the money or wait in line for 30 minture''s to buy another card that I might only use from time to time.

I personally think all these different cards and the clubs saying we only take this one and not that one. Is a bunch of shit. I dare one of these clubs to say I can't get med while I'm visiting family down in SF. First, I'll drive my monster Diesel truck right throw the FUCKIN lobby, then I'll sue the fuck out of them for denying a legal 215 Disable Vet his med's.

I hate these fuckin asshole. They sure are for the patients. A simple phone call and the proper ID is all that they are suppose to ask for. Not some special card that is only good for their county.

Sorry, i hate hearing patients getting turned away for not having a card, but have the proper paperwork and ID. It's not right.

billygoat- when i got rejected i felt the same damn way! it is a bunch of bullshit, and it doesnt happen up here in the sacramento area. ive only had this experience in berkeley, oakland, san fransisco... so i guess now ill get another freakin card so i can visit their clubs and give them my money. it just seems ridiculous that the proper paperwork thats a stamped original copy from my doctor, and my id, wont get me in.

Purple Heart and Now Patient 2 patient are the only ones i know that you must have OCBC ...I was actually a memeber at patient 2 patiewnt for the longest, the other day i walk in and the dude goes we have new management so we need the OCBC card next time ....fuck that i asked for my paper work back...they can suck my fat cock they prob got something set up with the oakland id center a refferal kick back or something to make extra money!!!

ha ha..honestly that is what some of the clinics are all about. A few are owned and operated by decent, honest folks that does want to help a sick patient but it's the greedy ones that ruins it for people. All they want is...your money! Charging $60-$65 for an eighth is ridiculous..and the whole purpose of med. clinics is to safely dispense medication to help sick people. I know some clinic owners here that are just paranoid, money hungry hoes! They treat us like we're their enemies or something. Greedy bastards.

All I got to say is..we're better off growing our own medicine.

I agree. Grow your own if you can. Most of these clubs are all about the money. Now, don't get me wrong. I like to pay the bills and have a few extra dollars around, but these clubs are out of control. I won't be buying a card.

me three... awhile back i used to get my gear from the clubs.. no more... too unreliable... its all about this mecca right here!

I have to vent.. some stupid and really obese, ugly, smelly clinic owner here just cut us off because we were talking to another grower at his clinic. The grower came up to us! So, let's call him, the clinic owner, :party0033:Fugly (for fucking ugly)_..is pissed because he thinks we are trying to hook up with this grower on the side and eliminate him as a middle man. There goes his profit...boo hoo.

It is all about the money and greed for Fugly. He doesn't care if we don't get our herb/medicine. On a brighter side....there are plenty of nicer medicinal marijuana clinics around Denver and my own harvest will be ready in about a month. I do not ever want to depend on any shady ass clinic again. Here's to growing your own weed and saving a ton of money!!:smiley_joint:
