Usually the yellowing and browning occur while my clones consume themselves growing roots from their nutrient stores sitting in water.

Once put in soil they react like it's hot but the start growing in green healthy leaves as they adapt.

To the original poster.
We're your original seedlings you pulled the clones from burnt after emerging from your ffof soil?

If so I agree with these guys it's too hot.

But if it only happened after cloning I'd say don't worry about it. Just toss a zip lock bag over them or humidity dome so they don't dry out and die. Make sure to mist the leaves occasionally too. It will help them while their root systems develop.

what u think about a good feeding on the mother then like 6 hours later or something taking the clones
wonder if that would help with them yellowing when trying to make roots

My clones are always super green and healthy. Always taken from the 1st main top. But yellow sitting in the cloner with no nutes.

Lately I've been experimenting with adding nutes to the cloning reservoir. It helped a little bit last clone.

I'm sure if I dialed it in I could find the right mixture over time. It's basically just hydro.

that's what im saying maybe more nute in them so no yellowing at all in cloning

how long it take u get to get roots ??

This current round I have fed The Beast every single watering lol. And I'm on the strong feed mixture.

About 2 weeks for roots.
The Beast clone took a little over a week so I believe genetics have a role.

how long it take yall to get roots so far just in a dome is 3-5 days ??? 0 yellowing and some time a lil drewping tell this round with clones with mag def

If I had a humidity dome it would help. But I'm not interested in babying my plants.

My environment is hot and it is dry (under %10rh). And I force my plants to adapt to the conditions whether in a cloner or soil.

The weak or sick ones don't clone so I don't keep them.

I only want the strongest most hearty plants.

Last round I poured only my microbial, fungal nutrient tea into the reservoir as an experiment. I had a few going. 2 got consumed by the microbes & fungus.

The last one (The Beast clone). Was not only resistant but rooted faster than any other I've done b4. It was a good sign she was the one.

Is my cloning process most ideal for high efficiency? Nope.

Does it weed out the weeklings?yup.
