Ya I thought u said that... I want to use a cloner that I can run first 2 weeks of veg in. At least topped once before I take it out. And a light that is 10 watts to a 150 watts dimmable for that 3 weeks they are in the cloner.

No and dont try to do anything he is doing. What's good for him isn't good for you. Two different medians. You doing fine.... Your next run will be even better.
Good advice! But I also have another tent running Coco, ProMix Blend, Coast of Maine. I'm using NFTG and I wonder since it's so calcium based if I need to add cal mag. Could that burn from before be cal burn?

yeah the clones only need little light....ambient even
clones cant transpire....(release moisture) and they cant feed....all they are doing is sending all energy into regenerating itself by supplying roots
not until roots pop do they need light or feed
I used to have great success with taking the cut then chewing the stem a little bit, dip in local honey and then putting it right into a solo cup with lightly amended soil. Right in the kitchen beside the glass door along with siran wrap humidity some propped up with a straw. Just ambient light. Far better success than with the EZ Cloner. That's for sure :mushtache:

Why? The cloner should rock ass!

@EventHorizan I'm building out another two site and have a question you down for some design talk?
Just a Lil bit. I should been asleep 2 hrs sho. My mess are kicking in so if u don't hear from me.. well u know what happened

I mean. I agree. My best guess is temperature being too low and lack of patience. But to me it seems like the spray is so uneven. On some of the spots the spray is blasting the clone. On other spots it's barely getting anything. It was my understanding the angle of the sprayer matters and it's supposed to bounce off the sides of the container and the resulting spray hits the plant.

Maybe I'm not checking it enough. I never check it lol. Should I be checking water level daily etc?

Does the water level impact the pressure of the sprayer? . Add more sprayers and a bigger pump. Feed more often.

I'd think not as long as water is covering he pump. The pull of the pump i don't think would be affected much by half a gallon difference. And the whole point of EZ Cloner is so I don't have to do that.

I bought the EZCloner because the DIY EZ Cloner also didn't work for me. Lol. So I must be doing something wrong.

Well what happens? Just no roots?

Get a aquarium digital heater and set that to 78 degrees.... clones like warmer water. I would put hydtogaurd in it myself..... see if that helps.
I guess I could run tea in it. I've been running sterile just silica, cal mag, hypochloric acid. I ran Tea in the DIY I made.

And yeah essentially no roots. But they stay upright and green fan leaves finally dry up and they die before they get roots. Or they get miniature roots. Not like I've seen other people get.
