It was 2.0 and 6.1
They haven't been feeding normally. Resetting the res as we speak

I know but I had it at 2 for a month and as they would drink down 5 gals the ec wouldn't change by much. Less than a point. Then I added the si last change out and they been tempermental...
Resort clean out almost complete... now I need to decide just what I'm adding....

Mg maybe ....but probably not.....the main concern besides the leaves is the stem which is a sure sign of Sulfur
you see those large purple stripes.....that is sulfur coupled with the lightening of the leaves....and the leaf stems are purple/pink

Nitrogen looks the same except the stems go red and it starts on the bottom

if you look at your plant it is happening on the new growth as well as the overall plant....Ca shows up on the bottom leaves first

I hear you. I suppose my wording was wrong. I meant that cal and mg or the lack of them from the recent addition of the RO system caused that issue for Event. Not that it was directly a cal symptom but more of an antagonistic symptom as sulfur is a very rare deficiency to have out right. It's usually locked out for one reason or the other

As for why you saw sulfur def too much cal in the res previpitates into cslcium sulfate(gypsum) and falls to the bottom. That would explain why you has that happen while adding calmag

Fresh rez should be a safe test though no changes. I think 2 is high as well but if it worked for a month then I suppose they are hungry mofos.

Hahahahahaha that Si though! I'll say this. Always add 10ml of mountain dew to the rez first:D

Just don't forget. Mountain Dew first!

Wish will tell you. I know the Si will raise your ph. I believe you're supposed to add it first before anything else but I'm not sure as I kinda forgot about the order, have not used it in a while. Silicon is good though.

Ya I'm supposed to mix it first... never without the dew! That what I use for sugar to feed my microbes...
