Anything with a fair amount of Afghani in it seems to get big buds.
You also need bag appeal though, needs to look ok and smell ok.

To he honest, it can be a bit of a search finding a good keeper if you don't live somewhere where clones are traded.

You have to go through a lot of seeds, maybe do some crosses of your own, to find one that has not only hight yield, but fast maturing and good bag appeal and smell.

And then when you do find one that ticks all the boxes, make sure you keep it, so have clones taken before it goes into flower, or reveg it and get clones off it.

I found seed companies tend to exaggerate their seeds; for example "dripping with resin" is a common term they use.
Always turns out to be bullshit.
I agree totally... That's why I figure I get better info from growers than seed companies. But I know it's also about finding that pheno.
I don't live where have access to clones. I'm on my own completely except for the farm family..
I'm doing good but the best weed I found that I grew was bag seed and it kept turning hermie, and seed my whole grow. But it was still fire and had everything you would want except for the seeds. Frosty as hell. So I moved on to new genetics... some Urkle crosses with Sour Diesel and a cross with GSC....
From here at the farm....

That's why the consumer needs to buy direct from farmers, eliminate any middle man. prices are high enough for grower and low enough for toker...WINNING !!! I know...easy said then done. This isn't about how the middle guy that didn't put the work in growing can make money. Who cares? If you can grow quality weed, you should be the only one to profit from your harvest. IMO.....
But I do understand the middle man, and the reason to use one.

But I do understand the middle man, and the reason to use one.

Not everyone knows enough retail consumers to be able to move the product at a reasonable rate, so if you find someone who will buy say $500 worth or more at a time, then sell it to them much cheaper so they can make a profit and they will then come back for more.
What I mean by sell it cheaper is give them more for their $500, not charge them a lower price.

SWIM does not sell by weight usually, SWIM sell by price.
So the buyer says $200 worth please, and SWIM gives them an amount of weed for $200; and if they say $500 worth, then SWIM gives them enough weed that they will think that's a good deal for $500.

I mean, SWIM basically bases it on the rate of $200 an oz, but throws a bit more in, how much more depends on the quality of the weed. If it has good bag appeal, then a few grams more, if not such good bag appeal, then SWIM might throw in another 7 grams to make them happy and keep them coming back.

And then the more they buy, the more pro rata they get for their money.

Got to reward them and give them an incentive to buy bigger deals.

SWIM's idea is to cash it in for cash as reasonably quickly as possible, as apart from enough weed for SWIM to smoke personally, the rest is useless to SWIM, whereas cash is not useless to SWIM. SWIM likes cash.

So turn it into cash and bury it in the back yard, and then grow some more.

I know a guy here buried his stash in barrels underground on his property.

One day the area flooded from a quick rain and they floated up out the dirt lmao.

I found weed gets a funny smell from being buried, sort of like a dank cellar type smell.

Some people go to the supermarket and buy the homebrand products, some buy the name brand products.

The homebrand products are cheaper, but often not quite as good quality as the name brand goods.

But people still buy the homebrand products.

Price is often the biggest selling point, and quality second.

I think the idea is to sell a product that does the job as cheaply as possible while still making a profit.

In the end it's not what you want, it's what the customer wants that should dictate what you do.

You have had a monopoly for years, and the prices have been artificially inflated because of that.
Prices are just coming down to a more realistic level for what you are selling, it a plant.
Finally a reasonable positive comment.

I have a goal to bring the best quality medicine possible at the lowest price and cost to me while i enjoy it and make some cash. What's up with all this hate? People calling out new farmers and industrial farmers and outdoor farmers why? At the end of the day we are all farmers and we are chasing the dream. Competition means improvements so get with it.
Cultivate love to all.
