Dude! Rmoltis Miyagi Sensei! It's perfect because he methodically trains his plants just like Mr Miyagi trains his bonsai's!

@rmoltis Iffn I remember you said it was ok to post my stuff in your thread........... So I wanted to update you with the 2 strains I am testing for a buddy. Took the ladies out for a spin to remove some lower scruff and do a pest inspection. So I took some snaps.

Today I switched my Solistek HPS bulb out for the MH with low iron glass at 10,000 k they call it a finishing bulb. Higher uva & b due to the low iron glass and the gas mix they use. They recommend last 14-21 days of flower. Keep in mind this is a test run for germ rates and hybrid vigor and when assessing phenos I dont like to do a lot of manipulation and let the structure and yield stand on it's own. I believe a pheno hunt or for breeding it is better to let the genetics speak for themselves.

The yield will be around average, They still have 3 weeks or more so they may fatten up more but with manifolding or scrog or topping multiple times the yield of course would go up. They have 3 weeks technically to go but I think from what I am seeing they may go 11-12 weeks. Soil is living soil and the nutes are NFTG advanced.

From the terps they are throwing off smells mighty friggn dank. Especially the NorCal Catpiss I ran 1
and the 3 WiFi Lemon Alien X NorCal Moontang aint no slouch either. Frosting up nicely and terps are insane.

So here are 3 wifi with some bud shots and the nccp with a few bud shots as well.

When we get to training your beast cut in that big bag you sent if the cut you gift me doesnt make the journey I have some GG # 4 x Elmers Glue I am stoked to give a go so either way we will be putting someting in that jumbo bag to beast mode in. :)

Hey guys, I was at Costco and found some OMRI rated organic soil at 8.99 per pack.

Looks like a good enough deal to buy a few to fill my planned outdoor fruit/veggie/herb garden.

Not bad! I'm also trying to figure out my best option for my first outdoor season. I think our soil in Northern coastal New England is very rocky and sandy and hard to use, even if it is amended. I was thinking about making a big batch of a super soil to transplant into in Late May or early June when it is finally warm enough to go outside.

I still don't know if I want to dig a hole, build a bed, or just get giant smart pots. I plan on putting 5-10 outside. I have to be careful of strain. I need something that does well in far northern latitudes and finishes Oct 1 - 15. Anyhing later is risking frost

Sounds like a plan chief.

I keep thinking how ridiculously big a 100 gal potted plant can get.

Do You have a transitional up-potting plan? To ensure the roots fill the 100 gal bag? Who am I asking? I bet you do.

The beast clone is coming out of reveg. Top growth tip has been growing a set of leaves in, and nodes are starting to grow in too.

She is being fed only water until her roots get more established.

leaves have been slowly greening up, and normal growth is returning. Once she gets tall enough I will top her and clone that top for you.

I plan on cloning inside the clone shipper. It looks to be a perfect humidity holding environment.
Then once it starts growing I know it will be ready to go.

I want you to have a cut of the beast because of how she grew in.

Her roots filled transitional pots faster than I've ever seen.

She grew in many new growth tips all over making her very bushy while training.

Her structure was very nice and fairly even through the training process. Helping form a nice fairly even canopy.

And overall she was just healthy and grows very vigorously.

And she has been very resilient to any stressors applied during veg & cloning.

Out of 4 seeds popped she cloned the easiest. Sprouting roots quick In soil and in a bubble style cloner.

Hits all the marks I'm looking for.

In flower she frosts up early on.

The smell is delicious and paranoia inducing from the density (this may just be cause it's a bigger plant than I'm used to).

What part generally of NE you in?? Was born and raised in Portsmouth, NH. Always had great luck with the soil in NE but as you said your on the coast so I see your dilemma. Maybe some nice raised beds and just use ROLS and your own compost and worm castings.
