Used to use this a few years back and am going to have another bash! (I stopped as i belived liquid oxy + seaweed based products (nitrozyme) didnt work out together...)

Rocket Fuel
The following formulation is widely used in California where it is considered the ultimate growth
booster and is affectionately known as “Rocket Fuel”. To each litre of water pH 6, slightly warmed, add the following ingredients, stirring or shaking throughly between each addition...

Shake mixture thoroughly and mist the entire plant. Plants should be treated in this manner every two to three weeks and definitely no more than once a week. Foliar feeding should ALWAYS be carried out in low light, early morning or late

The above solution can also be used to water the root zone of plants. First dilute the mixture with four volumes of water. (One litre of the above mixture will therefore make up to five litres of watering solution).

Formulex alone or with a wetting agent will give u a little boost I'm not too confident in the oxy and nitro zym though bro I'm pretty sure oxy kills all enzymes

What reflectors is everyone using?...the dimlux single bounce ones look pritty good....

(For some reason when the board goes dead i feel the need to come out with this drizzle....)

cool tube... i know i know not the best but it serves its purpose I'm looking at getting supernova but only if I've got the head room for it...

Thoughts on parabolics (uniformity, no hot spot) vs horizontal fixtures? (50% direct light, deeper penetration).....

Not a fan of the adjustas, too many hot spots. I'd rather have a shitty sun king parabolic. They give a really nice spread with little downward heat.
Depends how u set em I guess it's not just the reflector that adjusts it's the bulb too and there real easy to work with I guess if u have a room with say just 4 lights in then maybe para are an option but with bigger rooms there a pain I'm the arse

3 x 600w gavitas, 1x1000wepap, loads of adjustas, loads of parabolics, a plasma Leo and I'm getting some cmh for supplemental when the new reflectors are released. I collect lights.
could think of worse things to collect i would if i had the space to store them, or use them..;)

I prefer adjusta personally but don't get me wrong para are decent too I just don't like any air cooled hoods or tubes
i wish i had the room and the environment to be able to not use the air cooled but you got to do what makes it work?!! i remember the first year trying everything... hanging the bulb then para then this blah blah ..... eventually cool tube won the day...

Hows penetration on them though? And bud density?....

I have only used them once to cover a big area with as little lights as i could...they were cooler however i didnt like the fact that the plants didnt get any direct light....but thats no real test!

I dont mind the adjustas, they throw a fair bit of heat down though..i like the adjustable aspect....
A few minutes if that with a light meter and a thermometer and that's soon dealt with I like the way the hood curves and isn't creased lines like on the cheap euro reflectors and paras are too big ime the adjusta are best suited for my style of growing

For what it is bro u could probably get rid of the 600 and replace it with a decent 400 with a normal reflector and get the same results and save a bit of £ on leccy

Penetration and bud density are great, the tip of your buds can be a couple of inches from the bulb with no stress to the plant. Yields are on par with the adjustas. I'm not talking about those huge 1.2m2 parabolics
