Today in the hospital I went to the cafeteria to get breakfast.

I started chatting is up with a little old lady. We both got in the food line.

While we were waiting we noticed the guy in the front was having a tough time. He had limited hand, arm, & leg usage. Yet he used his feet to scoot all the way from lower floors up to the 11th floor and into the cafeteria. Gotta hive him credit for that (he was determined).

I decided it would take too long for them to call for help for him. So I gave up my place in line to go over and offer my assistance (A little self sacrifice to help another). I made sure to ask first because some people are stubborn or prideful. Once accepted I gave him a push where he needed.

He said "I need a healthy drink" so I brought him to the naked drinks and helped him choose the flavor he wanted off the top shelf.

Wheeled him through the register line. Helped him pick up forks, napkins, straws etc then helped him find/to a seat/table.

When it was all said and done. I got a "I appreciate your help, people just aren't like you." :):):)

Once done I went full circle and got back in the food line for my own service.

I think people forget we are all humans together in this world.
Many stay so disconnected from others they're unwilling to offer kindness /help.

Even though I'm having a rough time.
That guy I helped was having a worse time.

im the same as you. anyhow when i was at the distrib the other day not the normal one i go too. i noticed a old couple having trouble getting out of the car.. they were parked right in front of the front door. i parked at the far corner i can limp to a door. anyhow i beat them to the door.. shock! hah. anyhow i held teh door open for them, and the old lady said a gentlemen. im like I try, then when i walked in everyone was looking at me.. i do not like attention.. so i said the first thing that came to my mind.. you know all us long hairs are evil.. haha whole place busted up laughing.. and it put everyone in there in a good mood.. i hate rude people. the fact she even mention something like that says how low manors and helping fellow mankind is on our totem pole of society.

also its real easy to make someone have a good day.. just be friendly.. not hard.. shrugs.. so im always surprised when im told im nice etc because i do not start yelling and shit over shit that really means nothing in the big scope of things.. its just weird to think one could be any other way. sure and the hell cant blame it on shitty child hood because i had one. hha.. they just use it as a excuse to be a angry jackass.

sigh.. hope you get good news today, or at least some kind of news so you know what you are dealing with and what to do to get healthy again.

chris.

Quick question fellas. . . What's good for adding density to my girls.
btw...no haters please. The last 2 fellows were nooooooooot mutchHelpAtAll. Thanks.

I would find the root cause.

Start with bigger plants grown in larger pots with higher quantities of soil.

This gives ample room for roots to grow.

The larger the soil volume,
the larger possible rootball,
the bigger the plant.
Bigger plants with large root systems in large capacity soil containers. will produce larger fruits than an identical clone grown in a smaller soil volume, smaller pot with smaller root system.

Those are the foundations when approaching the aspect of bigger fruits.

Those conditions will add extra veg time to fill out the pots.

Requires training to increase the vegetation and split up the energy into multiple tops. This increase in vegetation drives root development.
You only need as many roots as can supply the current vegetation. More vegetation=more roots.

Those are the core points I focused on without having to change anything else.

Larger pot
Larger soil quantity
Larger root system
Extended veg
Training for vegetative development

We got home today from the hospital.
I'm just gonna skip the hospital topic.

But it sure feels great to be home with the one you cherish most :love2: :party1:

I chopped a couple larf buds off the beast. Then tried it out. Turns out with 61 tops filling the tent. My effective penetration zone diminished to "10 from "15. But these buds were still good.

It is Very cerebral, cottonmouth is very intense, and it's got me stuck.

Once fully matured in a couple weeks this plant is gonna be a mind breaker. I don't know whether to be happy or afraid

Hey THANKS rmoltis! ActulIy I have been using smaller containers...I went from 5 gal buckets to 3 gal root pouches thinking it would be fine. But it ain't fine at all aghhh. I'm working on selection of 4 strains. Once we narrow that down, I'll be able to VEG longer (you got it down cold brother )

I dig how you didn't even mention increase on nutrients :-) because I've always kept it minimal. Nothing fancy.

Today is start of week 10 for #3 in the micro.

And the start of week 9 for the beasts +accent plants.

Mozzarella is spec'd for 8.5 weeks. I will trich check once lights come on.

It looked decent last time but.
TF reminded me some trich's mature early. Since I waited it has chunked up a bit more.

I know the maturity date is fast approaching. I just need to keep a daily eye on here. She may go amber on me when I least expect it.

I'll try and get some pics later tonight
After the lights come on.

What % of Amber do you shoot for. I guess it depends on the strain. A just cut this Af-PAK @ 8 weeks. It was just starting to show amber. My logic was simple...it's a 100% Bonafide Kush, so mostly milky should be fine and still do what a pure indica should. What do think molt?

I don't necessary shoot for a certain amber %

Rather I watch the trichome progression at the top and bottom of the plant.

The trichome maturity progression starts from the top and spreads downward .

So once I see the bottoms matching the tops that is my sign.

So if I see ambers up top but not down low it is the light oxidizing the trich's.

But once I see the milky and amber trichomes show up at the bottom matching the top. That's when i know the whole plant is on its way out.

But my goal is as little to no clear trichomes if possible.

This is when I harvest. It makes for different % ratios of amber and milky each time but yet it comes at it's fullest potential. Harvest sooner lose yield, harvest later it's over ripe.

You'll also know once the tops are mature cause they get all chunky & swollen. This is a look thats hard to miss.

Personally for 8 week strains I aim for 9-10 unless I see signs it is a fast finisher mature at 8 weeks. On an 8 week strain i keep a close daily eye on trichome progression if I go past 8 weeks
