Sour kush and Money Bush organic soil 3 week into flowering .

Raised money bush up by propping up so tops are more even under light now . Still a lot of green For St. Patty Day !

Down to two plants sour Kush , Stinky stinky , no more than two plants for this 7 gallon smart pot in 32 by 32 tent.I harvested the money bush plant as the trichones appeared to be 50 % amber .
Anyways learning as u go is a great teacher.

This is pic of what i got from Money bush plant . Its a very short plant

The remaining two Sour Kush plants should produce much more as they are much bigger

Hi Taco. I am a long time grower in soil myself. I know I am adding my two cents worth a little on the late side but I want to share now before you start your next grow and before those beautiful girls you have do anything besides delight you.I want to say your ladies look wonderful you seem to be doing fine the biggest trick for you now will be doing as little as possible from here on out. And then being patient to really let them load up on the trichomes.

#1 Going back to the start. No matter if you are starting from seeds or clones. Skip the solo cup and the 1 gallon pot. Rapid rooters or rock wool are great places to start. Once you have roots poking out of them move them right into the pot they will finish in. If you are worried about burning young plants what you do is fill the pot with whatever medium you will be using. then were you plan to start them scoop out about 3-4 large handfuls and replace that with seedling or starter mix which has low nutes and will not burn your baby's. Changing pots more causes more stress on your plants and unless totally necessary do to lack of space its not worth it.
#2 Training and super cropping. You had your girls trimmed up pretty well before you attempted super crops. You went a little higher up than I do but it looks like your getting a decent result so far. I think you may have gone a couple nodes to high. For next time don't force plants to super crop. Usually by about week 3 of 12/12 your stems will have become to rigid to gently squeeze and bend in a super crop fashion. It is sort of a learned art of the feel of how to bend them and crush the center without breaking the stem. It is worth learning!
#3 tent size. I think 3 plants in 7 gallons will completely fill that tent in the way you are looking to. First you should make them all the same strain to match height better. You want them to be touching each other but not invading each other if that makes sense. Also you want to fill everything right up to the edges. I see light falling thru now in several places with only 2 plants. In my opinion you would have been perfect if you would have put some boards or something under that shorter plants to bring her up to the same height as the others. You did yourself a disservice by taking that one to soon. You should have gotten at least 2 jars full of dense nuggets from her as I think you will with the two you have left.

Finally. Keep up the good work. The results are what matters most. Be patient and remember the lessons you learned from this grow as you go forward. I will keep my eyes on how its going and expect lots more beautiful pictures.

Well I’m back and i saw a catchy phrase on tv the other day “your best teacher is your last mistake - Ralph Nader

I came back to this thread cause this is where I started and seeing these pics reminded me that I can grow sumtin ! Well till I started floating around and fooling with hydroponics. Hempy buckets mostly, now I’m like 8 months from seeing my last flower. Its been one flop after another . So when I read the above quote at first glance I gained a new understanding of all the mistakes I had made trying to grow weed in the last year . So really lost a lot of confidence even starting a dam seed seemed hard as fuck. So here I am today trying to rescue and revitalize a stressed plant Gorilla Bomb grown from A feminized seed from Bomb seeds .I named this plant Bertha after it was exploding into fast growth from seed in a aerogaden . Then I took this poor plant thru Vietnam Nam experience .Transplant #1 -from aero garden to pure coco in solo cup . It grew like crazy like a rocket , cup was completely root bound . Transplant #2 -I then transplanted into a coco / perlite hempy bucket . It grew there fine for about a week and all growth stopped . Transplant #3 -
I tried flushing and fooling with the nutrients and I finally just got mad and pulled out and shook the roots all around and through it into the compost pile . Transplant #4 -About 3 days later I was putting some kitchen scraps in the compost bin and I noticed a fresh green color in a pile of garbage . It was Bertha . She had new green growth . So I transplanted her to a one gallon smart pot filled with soil and left in sunshine and she slowly revived . Transplant #5 - ok I know what u r thinking this guy is off the hook but for some crazy reason I thought that planting her into a smaller plastic pot would help revitalize this Plant So i transplanted her into a 7x7 inch square pot in soil from the 1 gallon smart pot. Transplant #6 ok well for some lame reason i transplanted into a 7 gallon pot after the plant was only growing tiny leaves with deep saration. I thought that more organic soil environment would heal the plant . Bertha has produced some growth since I added 1 tablespoon of Superthrive to 1 gallon of RO water on last watering . My soil is a mixture of compost , peat moss, growstones , lava rock , worm castings. Here she is Today after 6 transplants I present to you Bertha , stay tuned for pic I will send in next few when the light is on.

My impatience coupled with inexperience and listening to a lot of different methods , lotions and potions and I’m back to where I started in dirt . I have downsized to a 2x2 growbox I made out of stacked black and yellow plastic storage containers from Home Depot . For a light i now have a Migro M 100 Cob light . Its wattage is 107 watts turned all the way up. 1 seven gallon smart pot in it . Why 7 gallon ? I don’t freakin Know . The smart pot has about 2-3 inches of medium sized grow stones on bottom . Why ? I don’t really know . I am trying to get away from plastic bottle nutes but I see where some folks use liquid Karma and pure blend pro in soil. So I now been did watering Bertha the Gorilla Bomb with a little LK 4 mil ,and some molasses 5 mil per gallon instead of cal mag along with the 4 drops of superthrive and 1 dropper full of h and g Roots excelerator per gallon . I used 50/50 tap water and RO water , why ? I don’t freaking Know , my ph turned out to be 7 . Ppm 361 .
Also foilar feeding with liquid Karma everyday. So why am I playing around with this stunted , stressed out plant . Well it has a lot to do its the only plant growing right now . I am trying to pop up some new seeds now at same time , I think for the most part it’s not screwing around with stunted and stressed plants. The soil it is growing is alive and that’s what really matters.
