See if any pistils are dying off.. I noticed with 3K-R bulbs im seeing this. Its not a problem but I dont remember seeing this with 4k bulbs. Im wounding if the added UV is doing this.

I may be noticing this trend too. I will keep an eye out. I see a newer bud with darkening pistils but later it has grown as it should. And a lot earlier and maybe more developed trichomes.

Weird thing about the uv. The 4K bulb has almost twice as much as the 3k

I have seen it under hps too now that you mention it. And I fed the plant I am mentioning a bit too much to soon. Minor nute stress but it was definitely involved.

And it is only a few hairs like you say.

Lol, now that you mention it I had my pH pen go out and I had pH flux which I think was my culprit

By week 4 I have brown hairs on quite a few plants. Not all brown, but some have spots of brown hairs. All 3k bulbs in flower.

I never used the 3k. Only used 4k and 3K-R to flower under. The 3k-r have more red/UV then 3k. They look like this. This is 33 days.. As the flowers grow and swell many recover. I have my lights 24" from tops of most. Smaller plants are 36" I set on buckets to raise thme closer.

May have to order a few more 4k bulb and do a run with those and see if there's a noticable difference.

I found these smaller dish pans at wally world for .89@. Works perfect to raise a bit. Fits under a 5 gal pot perfectly

Few days later and I got to it. Lol

.89 from wally world.
10.75" x 14" x 4.75" specs

Supports a drenched 4.7gal pot with a 5' plant with ease. Don't mind my messy work table/harvest table/empty beer bottle holder. I have about 4 layers of plastic and 15 layers of paper from 4+yrs. Can't be batching up the Mrs good ole kitchen table. Lol damn thing weighs more than I do.

Now that I have an idea of running a net, next run will be fuller.

The grey thing is the sensor for my.master controller (co2, temp, rh). Black things are temp/rh gauges. Now lowered canopy height. Those 4 all read same temp, controller reads 2* cooler. So I set the controller by the gauges.

Dropped co2 to 550ppm
Water only here on out
Day temps 73
Night temps 69/70
Added a 35 pint deheuy to the room for 1st time in 3 yrs. Trying to keep it at 50-55 max. Things are looking good as usual. May swap out all 4x3k bulbs for 4x 42k bulbs and compare.

April 12 they come down.

Yellowing has begun on the darlins nets. Water only. Water temp is 67*.

Little fox tailing. May need to keep them a bit shorter next round. Less than 1' from glass. Overall nice purple, super dense and stinky. Im not sure if it's the co2 or silicaa, but it seems denser this run vs prior co2 run w/o silica.

I've read to run it to beginning of week 6. I'll be able to give a better update in 30 days of this run. After dry, and at least 3 weeks burp/cure time. But last night squeeze test, damn buds rock solid (grinder or tree chipper for sure , your choice, lok) Rh is 45-50. Trying not to let it go below 45. Don't want no pm happening.

Running 4x gg4 next run. Gonna KILL it! Put me over my average 3x600 yield for sure.

Now HD would get my mini split back it asap, and my electrician puts in my 150a panel asap and runs my 220 line before next Saturday, I'll be super excited. Run open hoods, and drop in 2 more (6x 315 cmh). Lol
