Not a clue, but nice come up. SweetOk so I need some advice from my fellow farmers...thanks to a gracious friend who just had a baby and took down his grow op I was able to get my hands on a 400 watt hps for free...hellz yea...it has a dimmiable ballast 50-75-100 %...so my question is with my plant only knowing t5 lights it's whole life should I ease the hps in like a couple hours here and there or I'm I good to go full time on 100%...
Yea I'm def gonna hook my buddy up with some nugzysNot a clue, but nice come up. Sweet
congrats on the promotion! You guys better behave now.
I'll be crackin the whip
you're fine in the low 80'sSo I said fudge it and ramped the hps up to 100%...but temps were at 82 ..I don't want to have it over 80 at all..so I had to turn the t5s and the two cfls off and I got it back down to 79...I figured a 400 watt hps at 100% was the better choice then just at 50% with the t5s and cfls
thank for that input chiefyou're fine in the low 80's
Ok so today is the start of week 4 of flower...she's adjusting to the light well and started to show some frost..i was doing some pruning and felt I was taking off to much so I decided to up the last some more..I did notice that it was getting a little light green so I moved the lights up from 14 to 18 inches...nothing but water still and all is going well
This is before the pruning/lst

I couldn't reach an anchor at either end of the pot so I had to tie down on another branch
Some frostiness started to show
well i see you already turned the light up.. how tall is the tent? The hps alone is good, but if the plant gets to tall for your plant 50% and the t5's will make some frosty bud! and they will fill up them sides good,, no lollipopping needed! It is a good looking plant. Good job! heat will make the bud airy... How big is your exhaust fan and where does it exhaust too... what is the size of your tent?Ok so today is the start of week 4 of flower...she's adjusting to the light well and started to show some frost..i was doing some pruning and felt I was taking off to much so I decided to up the last some more..I did notice that it was getting a little light green so I moved the lights up from 14 to 18 inches...nothing but water still and all is going well

Thanks chief I'm sure hoping she does just thatShe's gonna blow up with all that good light!
thanks much man...my tent is 2x2x6 and my exhaust is a 490 cfm fan it does pretty well..the only light I have running now is the hps and the hottest it gets in the tent is 81 but for the most part it stays between 75-79..I haven't been able to vent the air out a window due to stealth reasons so it's just blowing out the top of my tentwell i see you already turned the light up.. how tall is the tent? No I don't but will be getting one very soon..it has had a nice smell for a couple weeks...not to strong but I can imagine how it's gonna getthat is what i figured. Do u have a carbon filter?
75 to 79 is perect..You need to open them flaps at the bottom. One of your pics shows flaps closed. If you open the window a liitle you will cool the room down slightly. plus extra co2.. You need a old window ac that looks like an ac outside but inside u hook your exhaust line to it... another month prob before you wouldnt look odd, but thought for future...
