Helpppppp Is This Normal ?

my plants are on 1st week of flower but it looks like after the stretch their are HUGE gaps and empty leaves any HELPPPPP
I dont know if i can post pictures here i dont see an option

It looks like the plant is stretching but the bud forming looks small and far from each other like the stems look empty

What is your set up? what is lights? wattage? how far from top of plants?
What strain? Could be genetics... almost looks like a sativa influence, except leaves.
Lack of enough intense light? I see led...???

4x4 tent
Led 2x1000w
Right now 18in they were 12in from the light
Strain unknown seeds were given to me from a friend
7 weeks veg and this is first week of flower
This is my first time growing so i dont know if this is normal or not
The plant looks super healthy it just seems like the bud grow seems far apart and not alot of leaves growing

Reading it again, I am assuming the LEDs say they are 1000w but are not pulling anywhere near that. A little trick that cheap LED companies pull. Drive 100 10w emitters at 20% and call it 1000w because theoretically it COULD pull that much.

So being that may be the problem and i dont have another LED i do have Cfl's can i add that ?

It may be stretchy genetics but I would add some if you can or just roll with what you have. You should get some nice herb either way.

I mean the plant does look healthy and it is growing flower but like i said this is my first grow so all i have been doing is comparing with pics and mine dont look like pictures do i just hope i can get some decent buds out of them

Look at @REALSTYLES video of his GSC. He is getting enough light but the plants genetics grow similar.

I guess the real question is what you want to get out of your grow. If you're a budget grower I suggest the cob lights as they add flexibility and performance in one package
