Easy killa, was a union painter for the 1st 25 years of my career and I'm here to tell you the guyz/crewz I worked with were not the typical lazy painters union guys get stereotyped as. I would run production circles around any open shop slacker to this day!!!!!! Good to see you @G gnome even if you got me a tad riled up on easter sunday. Hope your well slacka........ :p

Ever notice when guys are in the trades and theyre union they can't just say " im a pipe fitter" or " im a plumber". Its always " im a union plumber" haha

I read something on a porta potty once that made me lol
Plumbers plumb, fitters fit, but the porta potty guys really know their shit!

I meet people like you everyday.

I burn more calories daily at work than I can physically eat.

And my last jobsite I was running I was the 1 guy on the job making every other trade look bad.


If your not lazy and you have a strong work ethic. If you always push %100 Any job can be hard.

Aint that human nature,? we all think we work harder than everyone else. Too many folks think painting is easy. Yea it is if painting grandma's kitchen, but working at extreme heights and blasting and painting bridges is not easy by any stretch. Too many folks watch those Wagner power painter commercials and think you can just paint a whole cul de sac of homes in a day....... LMAO.

True that statement, you sir are one of a kind!!!! Legend in your own mind I dare say. Hey all all bs aside have a great day. Spent yesterday due to split custody and family sharing doing easter egg hunt and dinner with my daughter and grandbabay . Was an awesome day. Peace out fokkers!!!

I happen to be one of few who do in fact realize what goes into ur job. I know that w big commercial/industrial jobs often times the actual work itself (in this case the literal painting) only makes up a small portion of the work. Very often settin up and and rigging is the real challenge.

You might find you would burn way less calories if you stopped thinking so much trying to find ways to blow yourself and your ego up............ :) I can paint 3000 more sf a day than you cause it takes you till lunch time to circle the wagons and develop an game plan. Just get to bustin it out son!!!!

Yep preparation and setup is the biggest part of the job. Once in place the actual painting is small in scope. Nice for you to recognize that bro......
